This is a nice case - its not big or bulky and it is a high quality item but be warned it is definitely made for pencils or stick-style pens (like Pilot Precise stick pens or Jelly Roll pens) and NOT retractable pens cause they wont fit in the loops!! The loops are rather close together and I found I had to skip a loop after 4 or 5 pens to get them to fit nice and neat, but Im not complaining! Its very well made, the loops seem strong, its pretty and colorful, the zippers are nice and smooth, and the compact size and small strap makes it perfect for on the go. The company does not claim to fit larger pens or markers, so those reviewers who have complained about not being able to fit those kinds of things in this case should have read the description before purchasing. I highly recommend and would make a nice gift!

I love the design but would have liked labels on each of the tiers.

Holds all my prismacolor color pencils very nicely. I use it everywhere I take my coloring so its nice for traveling. Thick and sturdy enough that my pencils havent broken yet from being tossed around so much....would highly recommend!

Looks just like photo. Not cheaply made. Love keeping my colored pencils in order. Use in my card making.

I use both colored pencils and the Crayola Twistables Pencils and this case is perfect for either! Offers plenty of room, easy zippers, and surprisingly light weight.

This pencil case is stiff and the material is sturdy. Im storing markers in mine and it was a little hard getting those markers to fit in place, but I would assume after using it for a bit the elastic will stretch. Its a good storing case although it does not impress me it gets the job done.

Hold allot of pencils I even keep a sharpener in it and love the handle

I love the look and its well made. The loops are tight and small, which is both good and bad. First, its perfect for pencils they fit snug side by side. Second, its tight for pens (which is what I bought it for). I have used pens in every other slot, offset on the facing side. I slid one set up and one down, because I need them to have the tips pointed the same direction. This works, just expect to get half the pens in as slots available. Overall its sturdy and well made with good zippers. I would purchase it again.

I wish the slots were a little bigger, so it could hold pens, but that is ok: it is still a really nice durable and attractive pencil case.
