If you want to customize the macro youll need to download the software. I have been using this for a few months now and its fantastic. I love it.

I got this on a whim and overall it works as advertised and is designed pretty nicely. Its more a question of just how practical it is. I touch type, so hitting Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V is much faster than taking my hands off the keyboard to go find the right key on this dedicated keypad. If I had an application where I was doing absolutely NOTHING but copy and pasting, then I could see it being useful, but frankly I cant say that Ive ever had that condition in 40 years of working on computers. Certainly my fair share of copy/paste, and a few cases where yes, this might have been handy, but not enough that Ive ever wanted to build one of these (although I have built stuff using keyboard encoders before, which has been possible for a long time). Even with the programmability, I cant imagine very many games where only two speed keys would be much advantage to moving your hands away from the keyboard. And given the price point where you could buy a whole keyboard for the price, again, not sure of the value proposition. Buy a cheap $10 keyboard and glue the control key down! =) But, if you have a use for it, it works, which is why Im not dinging it for anything but the price. For me though I think my whim was a waste of money.

Works right out of the box with no configuring necessary

I love this, its a great gag gift to just about any programmer or anyone who likes coding in general (because half their job is copying and pasting code.) It works perfectly and seems solid.

It has saved me so much time. I do a lot of copying and pasting for my job and this little two button keyboard has been such a wrist saver. I recommend it for anyone copying and pasting 100+ times a day or even the people who are … technologically challenged. It is simply- plug and use.

Works exactly as intended! Plug and play. No software needed. Used for work laptop. Makes workflow super fast! Trust me, ctrl+c/v is super slow in comparison. This is great for wrist ergonomics. So good I bought 3 and gave 2 to my team

NEVER COULD GET IT TO WORK

Great Christmas gift for coders; I got this and gave it to one of my buddies who codes for a long time and he got a kick out of it. As a programmer myself we use these functions very often to move code around in projects but it is also an inside joke at the same time because Copy Pasting is a slang term for stealing other peoples code or cheating to build something. Overall its both funny and functional and even has RGB which makes it a bigger joke!

This is our second unit. The first one works so well in our home office we bought one to take to the big office as well. Real time saver.
