This this is worth every penny. Durable metal base. It came in a nice box and install is straight forward. I wasn’t sure at first since you have to drill a few (4) holes but super easy.

I have this mounted to my dash with my iPhone, go pro and large gps attached. Holds everything steady even on rough roads. I’ve recommended to several commercial drivers and would recommend to you as well

Easy to install, holds my Iphone 12 Pro Max very secure. Its a little pricey but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. Would highly recommend.

Got this Bulletpoint Ford mount because oilfield roads. Havent tested it on the roads yet but it seems sturdy enough. The phone clamp at first glance doesnt seem strong but I shook it a bunch with the phone in it and the phone didnt budge.

The reviews that comment on the holders durability are accurate. There is no risk of the holder coming loose or unstuck from the mounting surface. My two star score is a result of how clumsy it is to stow and retrieve the phone from the holder, and from my experience with the mounting instructions. The holder grip is very tight with no user friendly way to temporarily hold it open while seating the phone so I often inadvertently press the phones side buttons, taking screen shots, activating my phone app, etc. and it takes two hands to manipulate the phone into the holder while leaning away from the steering wheel.

After 6 different mounts failed, I tried this one, which is by far the sturdiest and strongest. You must be comfortable taking your truck apart. It will make noises like you are breaking something, which is normal. When removing the speaker cover pay attention to the white tabs underneath that secure it. They can fall off and down into your dash. Otherwise, this is a must-have holder.

Im moderately handy with things, but if I followed the written instructions I would have surely broken, scratched, dinged my dashboard. Having found a YouTube video and seen what you have to go through to install this item, the included instructions are practically worthless

The Bulletpoint mount isnt cheap, but it cost less than the total Ive thrown at lesser phone mounts in the past. The installation was easy enough, and there are many videos out there that offer even more detail than the instructions.
