> 24 hourIm moderately handy with things, but if I followed the written instructions I would have surely broken, scratched, dinged my dashboard. Having found a YouTube video and seen what you have to go through to install this item, the included instructions are practically worthless

> 24 hourGot this Bulletpoint Ford mount because oilfield roads. Havent tested it on the roads yet but it seems sturdy enough. The phone clamp at first glance doesnt seem strong but I shook it a bunch with the phone in it and the phone didnt budge.

> 24 hourThe base is assembled and bent very nicely, but the base is noticeably warped while marking the hole locations for installation. I tried some minor tweaking by hand to bring it back true but its box welded at the top for strength so the slight warp will have to stay. Its not visibly noticeable, nor does this affect performance. Once installed, I mounted the arm and phone holder and clamped up my S21 in a Quad Lock case. The phones weight is enough to overcome the tension on the dovetails at the end of the mounting arm without significantly overtorquing the brass threaded inserts in the wing nuts. I used some light sandpaper to smooth out the rough cast and powdercoat on the split clamp to allow for more surface area on the dovetail while under tension. This definitely helped the mount strength, but its an engineering oversight that could utilize splines or a detent system to clock the clamping ends and be significantly stronger. Overall, its a very sharp and cost effective mounting solution with some minor fitting/function issues. I like it.

> 24 hourI’ve had multiple phone holders in the past and this one will be the last one i buy, it’s a little pricey but it’s WORH IT!! The installation was a breeze if your comfortable removing a few parts of your truck to install. Great product and highly recommend!!

> 24 hourThis this is worth every penny. Durable metal base. It came in a nice box and install is straight forward. I wasn’t sure at first since you have to drill a few (4) holes but super easy.

> 24 hourThe Bulletpoint mount isnt cheap, but it cost less than the total Ive thrown at lesser phone mounts in the past. The installation was easy enough, and there are many videos out there that offer even more detail than the instructions.

> 24 hourI was admittedly a little bit nervous about spending so much for a phone mount, but once I received it in the mail, I understood what I was paying for.

> 24 hourThe reviews that comment on the holders durability are accurate. There is no risk of the holder coming loose or unstuck from the mounting surface. My two star score is a result of how clumsy it is to stow and retrieve the phone from the holder, and from my experience with the mounting instructions. The holder grip is very tight with no user friendly way to temporarily hold it open while seating the phone so I often inadvertently press the phones side buttons, taking screen shots, activating my phone app, etc. and it takes two hands to manipulate the phone into the holder while leaning away from the steering wheel.
