If the cord was at least a foot longer and the control switch a bit closer to the heating pad, this would have been a perfect heating pad for my little kitty. I tested the heating controls and I really like them, especially because I can leave them on 24/7. We live in a very cold climate and throughout the day she will lie on the heating pad so I need to be sure its always on.

The temperature control has 6 settings. You can shut off heating pad in 4 hour, 8 hr, 12 hr and 24 hr intervals. Cover zips off for easy clean. The cord is well made and easy to clean. My dog is larger than the pad but there is enough warmth ftom pad to warm up his body. A larger dog can benefit ftom this pad. Produces sufficient amount of warmth.

After I set it up it became my cats favorite place. I highly recommend this.

My cats love their heated pads

The controls are very easy to use and our 18-yr old tabby says she loves it for the old bones! She was my lap cat until I bought this for her so now my lap remains empty until we put it up for the spring. We bought a second heating pad for one jealous boy cat and another for our grand-kittehs. The timer has four setting durations which makes it handy for overnight and long cold spells. Seems to be very sturdy and very well received! Third heat setting of six appears to be the best and safest for cats according to what we have read.

I was impressed by the safety features. The cord is non chewable for our cat likes to explore any and all items that enter her domain. (All seven pounds of her. So leave it on low she stands and looks at the pad then looks at me. After attempting numerous time she lightly get my attention with her paw Con:. It gets tangled also difficult to pace cord back in the pad

Nice large size. Bought it for our cat, with hope he would use it. Not so much but does keep the blanket we have over it warm. Maybe someday he will use it or save for our next cat in life. Its not like those heating pads out there that get warm, this is luke warm, barely noticeable. I guess thats how its supposed to be. My cat prefers WARM.

We put this in the cat house for our barn cats who won’t sleep in barn lol. They loved it from night one. We keep it set on 5 and they seem very happy and warm!

My little dog Bleau is a skinny little thing that won’t gain weight. So he gets cold easily. I set up my heating pad for him and he loved it. So I thought I would buy this that is made for dogs. It is not very warm at all. It is slightly warm but the human one is better. I don’t know about chew proof because he doesn’t choose stuff like that.

Works well. Easy to control with timer. Though my feral cat still hasn’t used it. Still skittish.
