> 3 dayI ordered one of these, and after finding no flaw and seeing that my cats enjoy it, I ordered a second. The heat is well-distributed, and the pad is merely warm to the touch even on the highest setting. I like this. My principal concern about a heating pad was possible overheating, and a possible fire hazard. The fact that this pad does not get hot reassures me. The cover is soft and comfortable. The cats have taken to them. I do not see that either cat has attempted to scratch into the pad. There is nothing not to like about this pad thus far. The English of the Manual is choppy, but is clear enough. One quirk with both pads : At first after being plugged in, and pressing the switch button, neither of them turned on. After a pause, I tried again, and after 2 or 3 times, and both turned on and have worked well since. Nothing in the Manual explains this, so I mention it.

> 3 dayThe winter has been brutal here in the midwest, and having a poorly insulated home makes it worse. My cat loves to cuddle at night to keep warm, but at some points it’s inconvenient. So i ordered her this heating pad. Turned an old cubby into a kitty condo with the heating pad & she never leaves! I keep the timer on for 4 hours at a time & turn it off when i’m not home. Needless to say, kitty loves it very much. & the cover unzips easily to be washed!

> 3 dayI have a human sized heated blanket that my cat loves. I wanted this heating pad to be a cat sized alternative. Unfortunately, the cat is not impressed. I can only guess why. For starters, this heating pad is not like a comfy pillow or blanket, more hard and rigid, and you can clearly feel the heating wires under the thin sheet of material. Because of this, it heats up very unevenly. I thought it was too cold, s I used an infrared thermometer to check on it, and it was 96F in some spots and 86F in other spots (at the same time). So I have to put an actual blanket on top of it. Then it is slow to heat up, even on its own, but especially since the heat has to propagate through the blanket. If I keep it on all day then the cat might eventually lay down on it, but its rare. She lays down on the human sized heated blanket even if its not turned on.

> 3 dayMy cat loves this thing! I put it underneath her little bed and I turn it on overnight while the central heating in my house is off, using the timer. Its really convenient and my cat sleeps on it every night. The one thing I dont like is that it gives off a chemically plasticky smell that bothers me a bit. Makes my cat smell like plastic too after she sleeps on it, even though its only underneath her bed so she doesnt even sleep directly on it. Its not that strong and I hope it goes away... but Im keeping it because my cat loves it so much!

> 3 dayWe take care of a feral cat that was abandoned by its previous owner. We already have 3 cats, so we cant add it to our fur family. We keep the garage door open slightly so the cat comes in our garage at night and sleeps in the back seat of my wifes SUV. The garage is not heated, so this heating pad does the trick. The first night we put it on the cats spot he laid down right on it and has been sleeping there every night since. A great product for a great price.

> 3 dayI bought this heating pad because my cats mostly stay in our downstairs and it gets pretty cold. We got 2 kittens about 2 months ago and kittens have a hard time keeping warm. The heating pad was ready to go straight out of the box. No assembly required. The heating pad comes with a soft cover that easily zips off and on the heating pad and it’s really easy to wash. I usually keep my heating pad on the highest setting and my cats love it. They all curl up on it and sleep like babies. I will say when I first got it, it took them a while to realize what it was, but I moved it onto the part of the couch they love to sit on and then they started using it. The cord is pretty long (about 5 ft or so) so you can plug it in pretty far from the outlet. Overall, one of the best products I’ve bought for my little ones that they can all enjoy at the same time.

> 3 dayBought one for each of my dogs. Once they realized it was warm they love laying on it. While a larger dog could curl up and fit, I would not consider the large to be suitable for large dogs. Its really rather small. It also tends to fold up on itself and can be a pain to straighten out, so if you have a I must paw at it before I lay on it! dog this can turn into a problem. Overall, though, they are sure happy to have a warm place to lay!
