This is actually a little bit heavier than it looks in the art. We bought it to lock up camping equipment like our generator, gas cans and etc. It seems adequate for the task. Nothing stolen yet for what its worth!

Great product. I used this cable to secure a large trunk to a fixed object at an air bnb so that I would have a secure place that could not be moved to lock my valuables away when not at the air bnb. Worked like a charm.
