> 3 dayAfter a decision to get back into martial arts (20 years), I needed new equipment as I sold off the old. Came across these gloves after someone suggested them. They recommended the 12 oz. Fit great. As Im waiting for the heavy bag to arrive, I couldnt sit any longer! I started beating on anything that I could! 2x4s, garage supports, trees, walls. Most anything with resistance. My hands are fine, the gloves look new. If I can add a picture later, I will. Train hard guys, these will take you through that journey!

Great gloves!
Greater than one weekThese gloves fit great when I first got them. They’ve become even more comfortable has they have broken in and still retained their protection. I always worry when gloves feel great before they break in as it seems they break down from a protection stand point. Wrist support is really good and the gloves are holding up very well. Great fit, feel & protection especially at the price point. Also look great if you care about that while sweating you butt off!

> 3 dayJust to get this out of the way: I only have 1 negative thing to say about these gloves...the interior lining. The interior lining is loose and can become difficult to adjust if your hands are wrapped. Overall the gloves are incredible...I bought the 16oz gloves and there are so many positives. 1) the section of the glove that curves works great with putting on and taking off the gloves...not to mention if you do Muay Thai...they have much of the Fairtax feel. 2) the gloves are supported, vented and wraps well around the wrists and hands. I hardly felt any vibration or impact pressures. 3) Although they are great for traditional boxing, they are also great for Muay Thai...and not to mention more cost effective in price.

Greater than one weekUnboxing: Packaging seems to follow industry standard as they were shipped in a reusable storage bag with mesh outlining. Gloves seemed to be well made as the Velcro was strong and the padding within the gloves seemed durable. First Impressions: I had the 14oz glove model. Upon putting the gloves on, I noticed quite a bit of wiggle room in the thumb section of the glove which could be a result of my hand size. Putting them on felt excellent, the main portion of the glove was form fitting, and the bar that is sometimes around the fingertips was well placed and soft. Usage: I tested these gloves with 15 minutes of pad work and three rounds of sparring all done without wraps. The balance of the gloves was very nice, as I did not feel as if I would lose control over my strikes. Throughout the rounds, there was not a single instance of my gloves coming lose which I ascribe to the design of the internal compartments of the glove itself and the overall construction of wrist straps. I felt that they were well suited for sparring, and flexible enough to do other calisthenics like burpees and push-ups while wearing them.

> 3 dayI cant say for sure if this is truly real leather, but it sure looks and feel different from the 3 other synthetic gloves I compared them too. Theyre the same sizing wise to other velcro pairs I own. Photo of my 16oz pair next to my wives 12oz for some scale. With a couple heavy bag sessions, I cant say that I can really feel the difference between other gloves while in use. Though I do think they feel like theyre already worn in. I dont think it has that bit of stiffness or extra snappy pop from other fresh pairs Ive had. Thats a good thing, they feel like a worn in pair but premium at the same time. Maybe its a psychological, they just feel like theyre better assuming its a better quality material. To the touch it does feel softer and stretchier. 5 stars, feel like theyre more expensive than they are. Way better than others Ive tried in the same price range. Everything I want in a velcro glove.

Greater than one weekLove these gloves. Had some old 16s that were wearing out from using them in the gym. Got these at a great price as part of a promotion and after the first wear they feel great. Great wrist stability, weight is perfect, and they are super comfy. Look forward to trying some other Byakko gear in the near future.

> 3 dayBeen into boxing for a few years now and figured I was ready for an upgraded pair of gloves from the ones I started with - WOW. I didn’t realize what a difference it would make. Super comfortable but still incredibly sturdy. Haven’t had for too long, but can already tell these will last a lifetime. Cannot recommend highly enough.

> 3 dayYo! These boxing gloves are legit!!! I just got into boxing and have been looking for a high quality glove that fits my hand size. I have very small hands and it has been hard finding gloves that fit well while being comfortable. Not only do they fit PERFECTLY but the comfort is UNREAL. These are now my new favorite gloves and can not wait to train in them. Everything is high quality about these gloves. The smell of REAL LEATHER, the fit, the comfort, the performance. Lets go!
