> 3 dayAfter a decision to get back into martial arts (20 years), I needed new equipment as I sold off the old. Came across these gloves after someone suggested them. They recommended the 12 oz. Fit great. As Im waiting for the heavy bag to arrive, I couldnt sit any longer! I started beating on anything that I could! 2x4s, garage supports, trees, walls. Most anything with resistance. My hands are fine, the gloves look new. If I can add a picture later, I will. Train hard guys, these will take you through that journey!

> 3 dayPicked up these gloves to replace my big name brand (Venum) gloves that were worn out. Have already used these gloves for a couple of heavy bag sessions and have enjoyed them. They fit snug and are comfortable for a longer workout. Can tell these were made with high standards and strong attention to detail.

> 3 dayThese gloves are comfortable and durable, but I was disappointed in the size and weight of the gloves. I ordered the 10 oz gloves and they are just as thick and as large as my two other pairs of 14 oz gloves (Sanabul, Everlast). I tried contacting the company via the email address on a business card that was included with the gloves, but the email kept getting kicked back like its a bad email address. These gloves are just OK. Quality is good. Nothing super outstanding about these gloves. I was hoping they felt more like leather, but they feel more like pleather/PU leather.

> 3 dayWe went with the latest weight gloves we could find still being decent quality but fairly cheap. These work perfectly for what we needed and fit well

> 3 dayThe reason I got these was my wrists were becoming sore after hitting the bag with my Everlasts (no wrist bands I thought) but then after using these I feel like theyre way more secure. I can hit the bag noticeably harder too because the leather is so much better and a but heavier. Its crazy how much difference gloves can make. If youre on the fence do yourself a favor and just grab them!

> 3 dayThe Byakko Boxing Gloves Men & Women - Pro Grade Leather Training Sparring Gloves are excellent quality gloves that are comfortable to wear and provide excellent protection. The leather and materials are of excellent quality and the gloves compete well with ones that cost much more. Overall a great value!

> 3 dayUnboxing: Packaging seems to follow industry standard as they were shipped in a reusable storage bag with mesh outlining. Gloves seemed to be well made as the Velcro was strong and the padding within the gloves seemed durable. First Impressions: I had the 14oz glove model. Upon putting the gloves on, I noticed quite a bit of wiggle room in the thumb section of the glove which could be a result of my hand size. Putting them on felt excellent, the main portion of the glove was form fitting, and the bar that is sometimes around the fingertips was well placed and soft. Usage: I tested these gloves with 15 minutes of pad work and three rounds of sparring all done without wraps. The balance of the gloves was very nice, as I did not feel as if I would lose control over my strikes. Throughout the rounds, there was not a single instance of my gloves coming lose which I ascribe to the design of the internal compartments of the glove itself and the overall construction of wrist straps. I felt that they were well suited for sparring, and flexible enough to do other calisthenics like burpees and push-ups while wearing them.

> 3 dayI cant say for sure if this is truly real leather, but it sure looks and feel different from the 3 other synthetic gloves I compared them too. Theyre the same sizing wise to other velcro pairs I own. Photo of my 16oz pair next to my wives 12oz for some scale. With a couple heavy bag sessions, I cant say that I can really feel the difference between other gloves while in use. Though I do think they feel like theyre already worn in. I dont think it has that bit of stiffness or extra snappy pop from other fresh pairs Ive had. Thats a good thing, they feel like a worn in pair but premium at the same time. Maybe its a psychological, they just feel like theyre better assuming its a better quality material. To the touch it does feel softer and stretchier. 5 stars, feel like theyre more expensive than they are. Way better than others Ive tried in the same price range. Everything I want in a velcro glove.

> 3 dayI have tried a few gloves over the years, because I have quite small hands. I found these to be the best fit yet. I mostly use them for the MMA training I am currently doing and sometimes for pad work at the gym.. They feel comfortable and light, plus my hands and wrists feel supported. What I really like is the inner fabric, which keeps your hands cool and less sweaty. I also purchased the hand wraps from Byakko, also really good.

> 3 dayIve been training in boxing/kickboxing/MMA for ~15 years, using quite a few different brands of gloves over the years. The quality of these holds up just as well as any of the others Ive used. They are very comfortable, are made extremely well, and are fantastic training gloves. Customer service is also fantastic to work with!
