> 3 dayI purchased this patch panel for my home improvement project involving a LAN network, and installing a POE surveillance camera system in my home. I used this patch panel to organized all the cable runs that came into the rack cabinet. Made of metal, with each port has a label that you mark with an erasable marker, and has tie wrap loops to secure each run. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayChose this panel over others because it had the cable tie tie-down point built into it. This ensures that your cables dont put strain on your keystone jacks, thus improving long term reliability! Awesome feature and worth the few extra bucks. Otherwise, I love the keystone patch panel because I can install whatever keystone jacks I want! Another great quality and low cost product from Cable Matters.

> 3 dayCable Matters own CAT6 jacks will not fit in there own CAT6 jack panel. The jacks are too wide to fit next to each other.

> 3 dayThe keystone patch panel was easy to install and seems well built. I have no complaints and it should last a long time.

> 3 dayThis is by far one of the best products I have bought on Amazon. I have had nothing but continued success from Cable Matters. I use my Cable Matters Rack or Wall Mount 24-Port Keystone Patch Panel in my custom rack mount studio desk. I plan on buying many more!

> 3 dayI bought this to replace some punch down patch panels which had recently been installed and which were driving us crazy. Having the ability to remove a single cable or rearrange the jacks on the patch panel is a very nice thing... a VERY nice thing, and saved my sanity. Im not really a network cabler, and Im sure that theres some good reason why someone would want the punch-down kind, (cheaper and faster to install), but in my case I had an undersized cabinet with punch down patch panels installed by others, with 3 or 4 wires faulting. It was impossible to the the remove panel and then put it back in after repairs without cables tearing out a wire by accident. Best decision was to buy these patch panels. They come with cable ties and a bar to secure each cable to neatly organize it all. So I was able to put the panel in place, then install the keystone and snap into place one by one, without straining any of the cables too much. Im guessing this is pretty normal for keystone panels, but this is these are what I bought and they worked perfectly.

> 3 dayGood quality, very sturdy. Only downside (for me) was that I could only use every other keystone slot, even when using Cable Matters keystone jacks. With this kind of keystone jack, the cables pass through the keystone and exit on the sides, where you clip them off. But even with very close trimming, the ends touch the ones on the next keystone, giving you shorts and crosstalk, because the fit is really tight. That also prevents you from applying electrical tape to isolate the jacks. Using every other slot gives you enough clearance to prevent this.
