I use this sunscreen on my 2.5-year-old. It goes on white, but gets absorbed after a few (ten?) minutes. It does transfer some: it leaves purple-film looking spots on the brown leather couch where he touches it before the sunscreen gets absorbed (which can be cleaned using a baby wipe). This is the best sunscreen Ive tried for water play, as it lasts a long time and I can see the water beading up on top of my sons skin.

I bought this because of its great listing at [...] however, it does leave your face a little white as some people have noticed. a good alternative that doesnt change your color (but not quite as good on safety or effectiveness, but almost as good) you can use the Walgreens product listed at Skin Deep, Zinc Oxide for Face, Nose, & Ears, which is not only super inexpensive, it is clear to boot! The manager at Walgreens had no clue it was rated so highly at Skin Deep.

I was shopping for a sunscreen that would not stain my clothing and this was pretty much the only one I could find; I can attest that it does not stain. However, I do find it difficult to rub into my skin and I truly have to wonder how mothers apply it their babies since it takes some effort to apply and to not have that white pasty look and it is a thicker product than I have used in the past. Aside from this it is a great sunscreen.

This is the only sunscreen that my family will use. It is truly fragrance free.....meaning that it doesnt leave that scent behind that the ones the drugstores sell that claim to be unscented. It is the most water-proof sunscreen weve ever used. I have small children and I can put this on them before sun and swimming and we can stay out about 4 hours without burning and without reapplying the product. Wouldnt go a summer without it.

I wanted a sunscreen that would be good for both of my boys but especially my 5 month old. Although this sunscreen goes on thick and can be hard to spread I am glad to know my kids skin is protected.

the only sunblock my son hasnt broken out in a rash to. its thick, but easy to applied. one less star due to its really high cost.

I love California baby sunscreen for my little girl. She has the most sensitive skin and this stuff really works! She doesnt burn, it lasts a long time, and its not greasy. I like to see the sunscreen stay on top of the skin, I know its made of zinc and better for her. The one downfall is that it is expensive, so use wisely.

My little boy has extra sensitive skin. We bought the stick version for his face and we use this on his body and he hasnt ever had a sunburn! Other sunscreens cause him to have an allergic reaction. A little bit goes a long way when applying. We switched to all California Baby products after using this.

This is a great product. It was recommended by the Environmental Working Groups sunscreen website as being very low in toxicity, etc. I have found it to be the best of the ones the recommend because it goes on well and doesnt make me or my kids look like ghosts! : It is very expensive, though, which is a bummer.

Toxins free and works well Hypoallergenic; my daughter very sensitive skin but can use this I dont even look at price when it comes to protecting her from toxins and harmful skin irritants. Ofcourse you have to at times and to let you know this tube will last you quite a few summers if you use sparingly which is all you need to cover a toddler. If u r at the beach every day; maybe one summer; still worth it in comparison to right aid brand.
