After a year installed on a spare tire for a gooseneck trailer, this is what remains of the tire cover. I was okay with it taking two people to get it stretched over the tire. The trailer does stay outside, but it is not exposed to full sun for more than a couple of hours per day. The cover has shredded and is now just falling apart. I am not impressed. Would this have to be replaced annually?

I bought this same cover (Camco) twice, about a year apart. First one had some cracks/slits on top after one year and I had to remove it to use the tire as a spare. Really destroyed cover by simply removing it. But, it was a cheap cover. Now, second one it has first slit on top after 14 or 15 months and it cost a little more. So, another brand may be better materials used and probably costs more. But I will just continue to buy this one.

For the price, this is great. It is easy to put on, stays on in high wind storms, and helps protect the spare from the brutal Arizona sun. The last one (just like this) lasted three years, which is not bad for the temperature extremes found here. Happy, and will buy again if we still have the same old trailer in another three years.

I read the recommendation to go 1 size larger if your measurement is close bit wish I would have gone with the recommended size. Fits, with a few wrinkles.. Product itself is a good replacement, just realize itll probably need replacement every 3 years or so..

It was a pretty good deal, not a great price, but OK.

This spare tire cover fits as advertised and keeps my spare from getting weathered.

The size chart was correct. The fit was excellent. The cover has stayed on thru some very strong windstorms.

They are still white. NO rips (hopefully never). They are outside on my Tiny House on Wheels. Love the bright white.

I use mine on my boat trailer spare tire. It sees a lot of sun, and has been solid.
