Omg! This was great for camping on the cabin, especially during the night! Need another one!

I bought this to save us from middle of the night bathroom trips in the deep, dark woods. Weve used it on a few camping trips and it served its purpose well. The seat accommodates kids as well as plus sized adults. It is pretty sturdy - it hasnt yet been knocked over so cant say what would happen if it did. I kept in a corner of the tent. I will say that we have only used it for pee and only at night - so we didnt use it full time as we had outside bathrooms. For these purposes, one of the bags that was included lasted two of us for 2 nights - wouldve needed another bag for a 3rd. The bags are nice because they have a double-seal so there wasnt really a way for me to spill the contents. Also the material inside prevented odors w/in our tent. And... if it matters to anyone.. it was pretty quiet due to the material in the bag so all of the other campers couldnt hear us peeing in the middle of the night. lol. I do think Ill give a garbage bag + some kitty litter a try when Im out of bags and compare...Ill update then. Overall Im really happy w/this purchase and do recommend.

This is a life saver! My husband is a truck driver and I got this for the times he sleeps in his truck and isn’t near a restroom. He said he was very impressed. He used it with the bags it comes with and they seal better than a ziplock. Of course the aroma of poo may linger in the air for a little bit, but at least your tummy will be happy!

Im a 64 male. 280 pounds. I never once felt like this thing wouldnt hold me. I recommend a good sized scoop of kitty litter to throw in when you use this bucket, to help keep odors under control. I also recommend wet wipes and Lysol to help keep you clean and keep the odor down. When its time to empty, I found that lining it with a 13 gallon trash bag with the drawstring before using it helps make things quick and keeps the bucket clean enough to be relined and used again if needed. It comes with its own bags, but only a couple - and my plumbing was down for a couple of weeks due to super cold weather where I live.

This was great! Easy to use, easy to keep clean (with the camco bags), and sturdy. The 3 people using it range from 75-275 lbs and it held each of us just fine. After bringing it home, a quick clean and I’ll have no issue storing it for future use. The rim was slightly thinner than expected so a toddler might have trouble, but young kids to adults should be fine. The lid also latches which is a nice feature… especially with a baby who tries to get into everything. Between the camco bags and the excellent lid, there was no smell when this was closed and only after multiple uses did it smell slightly when open. It was a little more than I wanted to spend for a “fancy bucket” but I’m glad I did.

Wish it was a bit taller. Will sever its purpose.

Worked perfect! Such a great investment for someone that tent camps or with a camper without a bathroom! The clean up was great! No mess or stink. Great purchase!

This is the absolute best camping commode ever! The waste disposal bags that come with the unit are genius! You open the zip-top bag, pull out the liner (which contains the odor/liquid absorbing powder) and drop it into the canister/ seat. The zip-top bag stays attached, from inside the bottom, to the waste bag! So when youre done using the waste bag, you tuck that bag INTO the original zip-top bag AND THROW IT AWAY! Plus, it biodegrades in a short period of time so that theres little environmental impact. I couldnt recommend it highly enough! Happy pooping!

So, after 45 plus years, we sold our boat and joined the Freedom Boat Club with a wide array of boats to choose from. Since “the ladies” were always used to a head on the boat, I needed an option especially for them. This saves asking any of them to lower themselves into the warm Florida Gulf waters or at least it gives them the choice of either. For the guys, it another story. lol This is a good option and a good price.
