> 3 dayReview of: **CamelBak Lobo Bike Hydration Pack - Helmet Carry - Magnetic Tube Trap - 100 oz** My12 year old son has been using this pack for mountain biking and finds it very useful. He can carry plenty of water for his adventures, and the pack has enough storage space for a phone, keys, an energy bar or two, and maybe some repair kit items. Definitely minimal extra storage, but this is a good thing for a pack that you will use for riding, since you dont want to much bulk flopping around on your back. The pack has held up great so far, and can be easily cleaned of mud and other debris (despite my pix - my son isnt a big fan of cleaning his gear). The straps let you secure it to your waist and chest. The only complaint so far is if you want to strap a larger clothing item to it (say, for example a sweatshirt or jacket that was needed early, but then you get warm and want to take it off), there is no convenient place to strap it down. The back of the pack has a pocket with elastic sides that expands a bit, but it doesnt open up enough to hold anything more than maybe a very lightweight windbreaker. Allowing this pocket to expand out with straps to lash items down would have been better. Overall, we really like this pack and highly recommend it, only deducting one star due to the lack of flexibility of that rear pocket compartment. The size adjustments allow this to work equally well on my 90-pound son or my 190 pound, 6-1 self.

> 3 dayHay mochilas de hidratación más baratas pero no con la calidad de esta. El sistema de bolsa de agua de Camelback es sin duda el mejor. El tamaño adecuado para llevar algunas herramientas y el kit de pinchazos

> 3 dayIt doesnt hold alot of gearbut it is exactly what I asked for. I am still going to buy a camelback H.A.W.G. for when I need to bring extra layers for these winter rides

> 3 dayJe fais des sorties longues (7 ,8 heures sous canicule) et ce camelback est très fonctionnel et permet demporter un maximum sans être trop gêné. je le recommande vivement, (même si il est délicat de le remplir en totalité, on fini par saméliorer sur ce point).

> 3 dayIt’s been a great pak for longer bike rides, especially down here in the Florida heat. I will easily drink through the entire pak when riding just 25 miles one way, then I reload at a nice rest stop near the beach (they have a huge water cooler that everyone passing by can use), and then I’ll ride back another 25 miles. For water fountains in other areas, I’ll use my water bottle to collect water from the fountain, then pour it into the pak to reload it that way, so it’s still very helpful to have a water bottle on the bike since most places just have water fountains, not large water coolers with spouts. Don’t count on reloading your pak directly from an older water fountain, that won’t happen easily. I haven’t really put my helmet on the pak, it doesn’t make much sense to me and doesn’t seem practical. It’s more trouble than it’s worth. Maybe others have used the clips and like it, but I think it’s just a marketing feature, it’s not useful to me and it certainly isn’t very secure. The pak has also been used out on the West Rim trail and the Narrows at Zion (though I had to be careful and lift the pack over my head at some points since the algae blooms were in effect at the time, couldn’t let the narrows water touch the drinking water pack). I could never have done either day hike without the pak, especially part of the west rim, it starts just past angle’s landing at scouts lookout, and goes out to an overlook that very few people go to, which was excellent, except for the doe that ran by on the mountain side switchbacks. I’m just glad it wasn’t a mountain lion or that would have definitely been the last hike! It’s not like they let you bring protection into Zion! That day hike was just a solid 10 miles, and there is absolutely no where to reload on water, so the pak made all the difference for hydration during summer 2020 out at Zion. Great multi use hydration pak, but definitely only use it for single day hikes, you obviously can’t store much of anything in it!

> 3 dayThe camelback is great, amazing stitching and material. However… the bladder tastes like plastic. Every single camelback bladder tastes like this. I’ve tried washing it, but I can’t get my water to my taste like plastic. If you are considering purchasing this, throw out the bladder, and buy a platypus or osprey bladder, they will taste like normal water.

> 3 dayHad a few camelbaks over the years, this is by far the best one if you ride dirt bikes or mountain bikes. Best capacity and low profile

Greater than one weekI bought my first CamelBak like 20 years ago and *loved* it. The products have since evolved into these really cheap products. Everything feels thin and flimsy and the seams kind of just unravel. But it holds water on my back when I hike so I cant complain at all. If you ask me, CamelBak has improved their profit margins incredibly over the last 20 years by producing a cheaper and cheaper product at the same price. I guess thats what you should expect from a company.
