CamelBak Octane XCT Hydration Pack, 70oz

> 3 dayGreat design and light. Holds plenty of water and keeps it surprising cool if you start out with cold water and ice. It’s comfortable and adjustable, but the waist strap my be tight or unusable for someone with a significant gut, but it stays on just fine without the waist strap. Storage is sufficient for a few small essentials for a half day hike. If you want more than an energy bar for sustenance, look for a different hydration device. The bladder was easy to fill and load into backpack. Just be sure to hang it from the strap at the top of the pack or it will slip down and may not flow properly. The flow of water through the mouthpiece is adequate. Emptying, rinsing, and drying the bladder is also simple and essential to ensure its ready for the next use. I’m very happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayBought 6 month ish ago and used quite a lot. The bag is comfortable and good quality, no question, but the water pocket gives a terrible taste to water. and once filled with water it does not leave much space for storage in main pocket

Greater than one weekHappy after about 10 uses during the winter. No bladder leaks, unlike those bought from other manufacturers by training partners. The pouches on the sides are good for many fuels. Had to improvise when water froze in the mouthpiece at about 20 degrees Fahrenheit by sticking it under my hat.

Greater than one weekThis is NOT what it appears. It might be made by Camelbak, but this item is definitely very poor quality. The straps are not padded. The padding in the back is a joke. The fabric is cheesy. I would NOT by this product had I known this is what it is.

> 3 dayIve been a fan of the Camelbak products for years- this one is great for longer races! The only thing that I would improve is the company to make a more womens specific fit of this item, as the chest area is seemingly built for more larger framed people, however you can adjust it pretty snug! Great sturdy zippers and and easy to use reservoir make this a no brainer!

> 3 dayPeu volumineux, des rangements là où il faut, une capacité suffisante pour 3h à 4h de vélo, facile à régler au niveau des sangles. Un produit développé pour les sportifs !

> 3 dayIm pretty disappointed with the design of this CamelBak. The bladder is accessed from the side and its very awkward to remove and replace without having a surface to set it down on (like when youre in line at a music festival). The lid no longer has a distinct locking point to give you the confidence that its closed all the way and wont leak. The waist strap sits very high on my waist and is awkward to wear. The fact that it only holds 2L is just the nail in the coffin. If youre looking for a good music festival hydration pack, my recommendation is the CamelBak Ratchet.

> 3 dayWorked great upon first use. Tube that brings water up to your mouth broke during second use. Snapped right in half. I contacted the company and they will be sending me a new hose. However its been a couple weeks, and still no hose...
