Camelina Oil 4 OZ

I had never heard of Camelina Oil (aka wild flax, German sesame, or Siberian oilseed) before, but saw this listed as a cosmetic product and thought Id try it as a face oil. I have since researched camelina oil and find that it has multiple uses, including as an animal supplement or cooking oil. It apparently has a very high smoke point, making it ideal for frying, and is a good source of Omega-3. I am not a fan of the scent as a face oil, so probably wont use it that way. The scent and taste are both nutty and almost peppery. Ill give it a try as a cooking oil since I dont plan to use it on my skin!

I think this Camelina oil will make a vary nice carrier oil for my essential oil blends that I use on my skin. I have never tried Camelina oil before but I am pleased with it properties. It rubs nicely into the skin, it feels moisturizing without being greasy. My skin has a nice shine after applying. Note that it does have a bit of an earthly scent.

This oil comes with lots of benefits in skin, cuticles, hair, and probably much more!!! I like to apply it to my hair to strengthen it and to my body to hydrate. Packaging is as expected, would recommend!!!

Camellia oil is great for your skin, hair and nails. Use it as a moisturizer it can help soften wrinkles. It can help improve you complexion and heal scars. There is no scent and it absorbs quickly into your skin without leaving a oily or sticky residue.

I have very dry skin and my skin loves this oil. I’d never heard of it before, but I’m really enjoying it. I use it on my face, elbows, hands, neck…wherever my skin is tight and itchy. If really helped with a stubborn patch of itchy dermatitis I had on my elbow when nothing else did, so I’d buy it for that alone. The scent is also not objectionable as some oils I’ve used.

I snagged this product to use as an oil treatment on the dry and dead ends of my hair. It’s done a great job softening the strands!! But it’s definitely a heavy oil, you will look greasy with it on. Its natural scent isn’t super strong but it’s also not especially pleasant. It’s not scented with any additional fragrance, which I’m sure is ideal for anyone using the oil for cooking. Just know if you’re using it for beauty, you’re not going to get that flowery smell of a made-for-beauty product.

I was surprised to see a full size bottle when most similar products for your face are an ounce or so. I do not notice any overpowering scent while using it. I first tried it on the back of my hands to test it. I felt and saw a noticeable difference. Using it now on my face and neck. At 65 years old, I am not expecting miracles but one can always hope. I also plan on trying it in my hair just to see what it does

This is my first time using this particular oil and I like it everything but it smells strange and kinda bad when you first use it. Other than that it’s great

I did some reading on this product and I am willing to give it a chance to see if it works for hair and skin and as a moisturizer.

This simple, all-natural oil is useful as a daytime touch-up for my dry hands that I feel like I dont have to worry about washing completely off before I eat. Not a big fan of shiny skin so using sparingly. A bonus is that this is a generous amount for a reasonable price compared to other moisturizers.
