I only get Vine items that I plan to use personally and I do a fair review based on my assessment and use of the product. I leave 1 star up to 5 stars if I really like the product and didnt really find any issues with it. My wife and I use a lot of oils for face and body moisturization and I am testing out this Camelina oil. So far I like it. I have used it on my hands, which get very dry, and around my eyes and forehead for wrinkle protection. Here is an except from an article I read: “[Neither] fish oil nor fish have been shown to be hypocholesterolemic, or cholesterol-lowering, explains Ursula Schwab, lead study author and professor of nutrition therapy at the University of Eastern Finland’s Institute of Public Health and Clinical Nutrition School. “On the contrary, fish oil supplements may have an increasing effect on LDL [bad] cholesterol concentration.” (While fatty fish can help lower triglycerides, another type of fat in the blood, they don’t actually lower cholesterol levels.) However, camelina oil certainly does. Ive read a lot of other good things about Camelina oil as well. It has a lot of internal benefits as well as external. This Lisse Camelina oil says it is cosmetic grade, but then it talks about using it internally when it says Great source of Omega 3 and Vitamin E when cooking, grilling and baking. According to my research, cosmetic grades are [typically] mixed with another oil, whereas the food grades are supposed to be 100 percent of a the specified oil only. I wish I knew if this was actually safe to take internally, but since it doesnt specify Food Grade I guess I wont risk it. Thank you for reading and I hope you find this review and the picture helpful in making a purchasing decision.

I snagged this product to use as an oil treatment on the dry and dead ends of my hair. It’s done a great job softening the strands!! But it’s definitely a heavy oil, you will look greasy with it on. Its natural scent isn’t super strong but it’s also not especially pleasant. It’s not scented with any additional fragrance, which I’m sure is ideal for anyone using the oil for cooking. Just know if you’re using it for beauty, you’re not going to get that flowery smell of a made-for-beauty product.

I have never heard of camelina oil before. The description claims that it is good for everything, on your skin, hair, even for cooking. First, I tried on my dry hair. Only a little goes a long way. It smells like mixed herbs, but odd. It’s a little strong for me and it lingers, so I will use only before shampooing as a hair mask. Maybe, it’s better if it’s used as a cooking oil. Has a high smoke point and contains Omega-3 and vitamin E. Seems a healthier alternative for cooking with oil. It’s a value for your money. 4 oz for $9.99. If you are using it on your face or hair, it’s going to last a long time.

This is a pretty good sized bottle of this oil. I had never heard of it before, but research is showing that it is good for use in cosmetics. The oil is reasonably thick and yellow. It has an interesting scent that I can’t quite place, perhaps a bit woodsy, but not quite pine. I sample tested on the back of my hands after doing dishes, and my hands absorbed this oil instantly. My hands became soft and supple. With that result, the face is next. I love the results of this Camerina oil. Give it a try.

You should use camellia oil on your skin, hair, and nails. Utilize it as a moisturizer to aid in the reduction of wrinkles. It can make your skin look better and repair scars. It immediately dissolves into your skin without leaving a greasy or sticky residue, has no scent.

This oil came in a generous sized bottle and is exactly what I was expecting. Ive used camelina oil before primarily on my body since my face usually breaks out with just about anything. But I am a licensed cometic chemist and so I usually make my own skincare products for my own use and this is a great oil as a carrier or on its own. No funky smell when I opened the bottle indicating that it might be rancid. Great product and great price per ounce. Seems like its 100% with no fillers.

It does a nice job at relaxing your hair, especially with frizz.

I was surprised to see a full size bottle when most similar products for your face are an ounce or so. I do not notice any overpowering scent while using it. I first tried it on the back of my hands to test it. I felt and saw a noticeable difference. Using it now on my face and neck. At 65 years old, I am not expecting miracles but one can always hope. I also plan on trying it in my hair just to see what it does

I have very dry skin and my skin loves this oil. I’d never heard of it before, but I’m really enjoying it. I use it on my face, elbows, hands, neck…wherever my skin is tight and itchy. If really helped with a stubborn patch of itchy dermatitis I had on my elbow when nothing else did, so I’d buy it for that alone. The scent is also not objectionable as some oils I’ve used.

I got this to use with essential oils. It is a stronger smell and overpowered the chamomile, but not the eucalyptus. The smell of the carrier is ok on its own so its not the end of the world. It is a nice moisturizer that absorbs so well and isnt greasy. I think I want to find more uses for it.

Lisse Cosmetics Camelina Oil is deeply absorbed into the surface of the skin, which makes it great for replenishing dry skin, but also for balancing oily skin. Rich in fatty acids, Camelina Oil moisturizes, protects and soothes the skin.
