Popped these in and the printer works fine.

Always buy the XL. More value for your money and printing is excellent for paper or photos.

Canon inks are good quality, but these were NOT XL: ink ran out very quickly.

havent replaced the old yet but I always use this ink

This is ink for your printer. It is expensive. The photos will fade hardcore, particularly in sun light. Good thing you have a digital version you can print any time you want.

We paid extra for the High Yield ink and it ran out faster than usual. Canon is charging customers extra for defective ink cartridges. There should be a quarantee of a minimum # of document copies. Canon also does not permit other brands of ink cartridges. Does not recognize.
