> 24 hourThis is a great Printer and so much fun in many situations. Take it to family reunion, my DIL is school teacher she uses with her students. Everything about this printer is fun, cool, and neat. Complaints from others about the only manner to purchase ink/paper cartridges is online. But that is fine with me.

> 24 hourI purchased a Selphy and took in on a one-week trip with my Granddaughters through the Pacific Northwest. EAch night we would sit down in the camper and print out our favorite photos of the day and glue them into journals. We had so much fun making multiple layouts ~ great picture quality!

> 24 hourI received the Selphy ES40 as a birthday gift after several hints. It took a bit of doing to gather everything together to make it work as there was no paper included with the printer. The clerk at Best Buy sold the gift giver the wrong type of photo paper and this was discovered only after the box of paper was opened and BB would not take it back. TAKE NOTE ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN PURCHASING THIS PRINTER: the Canon Easy Photo Pack (E-P100/Ink & Paper)that is needed to use in this printer is available only ON LINE through Amazon or directly from Canon. Plan ahead before you purchase it to make sure you can get the correct photo pack and you will then get carried away once you start printing your pics. One drawback is that if you plan to print from an xD-picture card, you will need an adapter for this (instructions in the guide state this is commercially available), but I have NOT been able to find this adapter anywhere on line or at any photo store Ive contacted or visited. This has been my biggest disappointment with this printer as one of my cameras uses this type picture card and Im not able to print those pictures without the adapter. It seems to me that Canon should include this adapter with the printer.

> 24 hourThis printer is great for small here and there pictures that I want printed. I have a photo printer I used before but in the end this is more cost effective. To print about the same amout I have to buy 2 differenet inks plus photo paper about $75. I would only use this for small jobs because sometimes it doesnt accecpt some of the pictures on ur card. Easy fix for that is if u open up the pic in windows paint and save as and save as a jpeg. Pain in the butt but it worked for me :) over all Im pretty happy with this printer for what I use it for, I got it in a pkg deal when I bought my canon rebel for a sick price!

> 24 hourThis isnt my first Selphy but I like it better than my previous ones. I do a lot of traveling and I love the way this one is compact. I also prefer the way the cartridge is set up with ink and paper instead of being separated n the other version I had, less to keep track of when Im out and about.

> 24 hourI love this little printer. The quality is so clear and I can print so many different sizes. It is perfect for Scrapbooking. I had the smaller selphy before and it worked ok but it didnt have nearly as many options. The only problem is that I have had trouble connecting it to my computer because I have too new of an operatin system on it. I dont care though it still makes me happy.

> 24 hourThis little printer is a powerhouse! It prints a photo in about a minute and, I have to say, the print quality is phenomenal! Its the closest thing to film print quality Ive seen from a printer. Setup is a snap. you open a cartridge, open the cartridge door on the side of the printer, take out the cleaning cartridge, remove the orange retaining clip from the back of the new cartridge, insert it into the printer and close the door. Now, youre ready to print. Just put your memory card into the printer, select the photos, cropping, effects or frames you want and press the print button. 60 seconds later, you have your print. My only complaint is that the Photo effects, which are available on the printer, are not included in the software for your computer. Oh yeah, While you can hook up a USB cable to your Selphy and print from your computer, you can also use it completely independent of a computer.

> 24 hourI brought this printer 4/6/11 and I use it to do even photography, where I need to print pictures out on the spot at a club, and the pictures come out to magenta or brown and I tried to adjust my camera in many ways and it doesnt change. They really dont have adjustments on the camera to really help you use it and they really dont have controls that are user friendly. The picture quality is horrible and I would rather, as a professional, step up and pay the money to get what i really need. So I am taking it back to the store I brought this from and return it and get my money back.Personally I dont like the unit and wouldnt recommend it to anyone, but every need is different.

> 24 hourI liked this printer at first and actually bought two of them, both an ES30 and ES40. However, since upgrading my Mac to Mountain Lion some six months ago, they have been unusable. When one tries to download a driver at the Canon web site, one gets a message, Content for OS X v10.8 Mountain Lion will be available soon. In the meantime, please use OS X v10.7 Lion content as a possible alternative. This message has been in place for approximately six months. However I cannot install the 10.7 driver in Mountain Lion, as the operating system 10.8 complains that the 10.7 driver is incompatible. I have called the support number at Canon, without success. The support person could give no time frame for the appearance of a new driver, nor even tell whether a new driver will ever appear. This means I have not been able to use my printers for approximately six months. I find totally unacceptable this abandonment--without warning or explanation--of a printer that has very complementary reviews. This experience with this model of Canon photo printer, especially the lack of information or useful help from the support group at Canon, leaves me with grave doubts about Canon products. I plan in the future to purchase no other Canon printer, camera, or other electronic component that requires a Canon software driver to interface with my computers.

> 24 hourI got this little printer in hopes of having something more convenient than having to run to the store. Ive got three kids and two of them are under the age of two so a quick run to the store to print off pictures isnt ever easy. I turned it on and got it set up and that took about 2 minutes. After that I put in the ink and paper cartridge and that took about 15 seconds. I plugged in my camera and started printing. So in the matter of about 3 minutes after I took it out of the box I had a gorgeous picture. Ive had so much fun with this little printer and every single picture has come out absolutely perfect.
