Canson XL Series Oil and Acrylic Paper, Foldover Pad, 9x12 inches, 24 Sheets (136lb/290g) - Artist Paper for Adults and Students

This paper has a great weight to it. It absorbs paint well. Works great with oil pastels.

Papier fini toile de bonne qualité. Je l’utiliserai pour monotype à l’huile.

I recieved it with a couple of pages already pulled out. My mistake, should have bought the one with rings. Paper is good and doesn’t leak through!

I got it to have a smooth, non absorbent surface to paint on in acrylic. It is non-absorbent, but it is terrible to paint on because of the rough texture. One side is rougher than the other, but both sides are too rough.

I liked that each paper from the pad have one side smoother than the opposite side, so you can choose your preference of surface to paint on. I used it on acrylics today so I’m waiting for it to dry to check on the outcome.

Im using this paper for both beginning oil and acrylic classes Ive taken & am very happy with it so far. Cant beat the price.
