This phone mount offers attachment by suction to the windshield or dash, plus by way of a clip to the air vent. In my case, the vent clips are unworkable since the vents are free to swing left & right with the movement of the vehicle. However, what I am speaking to is the use of this mount attached to the windshield: It holds firmly in place by the suction pad on the windshield. An additional stick-on pad is provided for those who wish to attach to the dash. The extension arm & pivot options make vertical or horizontal orientation easy. Once it’s positioned, the phone doesn’t move regardless of vehicle motion. (Note: NOT crash-tested!) Furthermore, I find the gripping pads are a breeze to secure the phone & the release button (top rear of mount) quickly releases the phone.

I have tried a lot of these over the years. This works great, I have a larger smartphone, and it fits fine. Vibration and bounce is at a minimum. It seems to have attached real good. They provide 3 options for attachment. Flat on the dash, up on the windshield or in the vent. Different pieces are provided for each option. The only thing that isnt great is the release button for the phone is in the back behind the phone. I can live with that, its a good holder.

A car cell phone holder is necessary if youre driving and following directions on your cell phone, or wish to talk hands-free, per the law in many states. I bought it for my Google Pixel (4a), thats in a plastic case. If you push a button in the top backside of the cell phone holder, two little arms pop out. It can hold up to a sizeable phone. You place your cell phone in the holder, then squeeze the side arms to secure the cell phone. It holds tightly. For a quick release, simply press the same button behind the cell phone holder.

This is what I was looking for. Easy to install event if the surface isnt straight. Solid and good quality.

This is an incredibly sturdy phone mount, its perfect and exactly what I needed. It comes with a mount you can attach to your dashboard, as well as a vent clip so it can be interchanged for whatever you need.

Although I just installed on my dashboard, I’m waiting to use it after a day or two to let it it sit properly. But I can tell it’s well made and not low quality.

The mount is very sturdy and versatile for a good price.

I ordered this phone holder for our Ford 450 cab to our RV. Although the dash mounting accessories are useful, I wanted the vent attachment as I try to limit what is on the dash for safety reasons. What I discovered is that the flange that extends from the vent attachment is not long enough to properly capture any of the round vent vains. This holder will fit our Forester and Prius by not the RV.
