I only installed it to my vent as Ive never found a phone holder that attaches to the window or the dash and survives the heat of summer. I am very impressed with how solidly it attaches to the vent. Its easy, although a little complicated, and attaches solidly to the relatively small vent on my dash. Ive never been a fan of vent attachment in the past as it was never really solid but this has no rattle or motion at all and is in a very convenient space with minimal blockage of any part of my field of vision.

Arrived quickly and does exactly what I need it to do. I would purchase this product again.

Easy to assemble and mount through suction or hooking to vent blades. It opens up to about 9 centimeters and also holds my iPhone SE very firmly. It’s easy to mount phone by one hand and just one button to release. So far very happy with it.

Ive tried several cellphone holders for my vehicle, with poor to fair results. So I wasnt sure if this 3 in 1 Universal Mount Car Phone Holder would be any different. As it turns out, this phone mount system works better than expected. I like that it contains components for suction cup mounting AND vent mounting. If the suction cup mount isnt practical for your vehicles dash, you can always use the vent mount. Thats what I did. Although the suction cup mount is rugged and sturdier, it blocked my view screen. So I ended up mounting the holder on an air vent instead. And as you can see from my photos, it puts my phone in a convenient, highly visible location. Time will tell if it holds up to the bumps and grind of the roadway, but its an easy five stars for now.

I have tried the vent attachments as well as suction and this is by far the one that works best. I use it in a Mazda CX9 on the dash. It holds strong and allows the placement I need to have it accessible yet not in my way. If you are on the fence of vent attach versus suction, give this a try!

This phone holder is very useful and reasonably priced. I have to have two phones with me all the time and they are different sizes but this holds them both.

I got this when I read suction thinking it could adhere to its base plate, but then be un-suctioned and removed. I am frankly confused by reviewer Yahya who says I can easily switch between using it on my car dashboard or windshield. Maybe Yahya has a different unit from the same manufacturer? You know how sometimes different models can get mixed in the reviews.
