carefresh 99% Dust Free White Natural Paper Small Pet Bedding with Odor Control, 50 L

UPDATED 2-25-18 I used to love Carefresh. (I originally gave it 5 starts). However, over the the past year I’ve noticed a slight decrease in softness of the product, but it was still worth it for the price ($10 - $13 per large bag). Now that the price has increased, I cannot justify purchasing it for $19 - $20. So, I switched to small pet select, and I like it better. Its less expensive, softer, and doesn’t have the funky smell that Carefresh does.

This is the best product to use for any small animal. The other are poisonous like pine, or wood shreddings.

Didnt much like this. Its kind of a hard material, and you have to use a lot to fill up a space. I would use it again if i have to, but its not my favorite.

Its bedding and does its job great. Best bedding Ive found and not expensive as some out there.

Great for guinea pigs. They can burrow & play. NO SMELL! Does not get stinky right away. SOFT without sharp pieces. I use this in combo with the oxbow bedding Ordering more today :)

Good for the gerbils to make their beds.

Smelled like manure straight out of the bag had to throw it all away

Carefresh is great I love how it comes in a variety different colors, but once you try to fluff it up for your pet it immediately collapses back down and is hard. My hamster loves to burrow but Carefresh is not the best choice for your hamster to burrow in because it does not hold the burrow and can cause hamsters to be stressed. I would recommend Kaytee bedding or Aspen paper shaving bedding.

Plenty fire the money

This was the first time I have used this product. I wont be purchasing this again....this is not an odor control product.
