Bought this to carry a 5 HDMI monitor and it wouldnt fit. It might work for a 5 GPS. I want to upgrade my review. I received a new monitor that is 5 and it fits nicely, so my other monitor must be 5 1/2

Exactly what I expected! The case has some give to it along the edges, but I would still classify it as a hard case. The inner divider is nice to keep the charger separated from the GPS.

I live in Central Florida and summer sun gives my dashboard a real beating. I bought an Amazon Basics GPS Car Dashboard Mount Holder, affixed it to the dash with Gorilla heavy double stick tape, then super glued the GPS suction mount post to it. The Garmin mount post suction will only stick effectively on a windshield - illegal in some states. It didnt even stay put on the Car Dashboard Mount Holder....so, super glue.

We needed a case for each truck with a GPS unit. I ordered 2 to see if they were what I wanted. They were perfect. I ordered 11 more. In fact I am going to order a few more. I highly recommend this product.
