Not hard sided (and neither is the Garmin) in the traditional sense, but is cleverly designed with reinforcements where external impacts could damage contents. This is a very good quality case for the money. Good materials, zipper, and workmanship and my 5 Garmin, along with charger and usb cable, easily fit inside. The hard shell offers excellent protection.

This is something we have really used since the purchase. Its gone with us across country. It could use just a little more in depth to accommodate the other spindle and suction holder. We also purchased a beanbag type of holder that works wonderfully on the dash, so we have no use for the suction one at this time. It is a bit small to hold the extra one, if this makes any sense. If you leave this at home or suctioned to the dash board, the case is perfect.

I love the carrying case because it is very stylist, I love the wrist strap, the feel and rich color of the material. It is a welcome step up from the one I previously own. Great product that was receive right on schedule.

Seems sturdy. Solid, not soft case. TomTom 5 inch GPS fits perfectly. Has separate compartment for cord storage preventing lens scratches.

My new Tomtom Supreme 5 GPS fits perfectly in the case. Theres extra room for cords and power supply. Its not wide enough for the mount but wouldnt that be pretty much staying on the dash or windshield?

This case is exactly what I was looking for. My Garmin fits perfectly inside it along with the charging cable and window mount. It is not a hard plastic but it is hard enough to protect the product from getting ruined.
