Cashel Crusader Designer Horse Fly Mask with Ears, Leopard, Horse

Puzzled about the review that says this mask slipped off her horse. Ive had mine for several years, I use it only for trail riding. I put it on over the bridle and have never had any issues at all with stability. Its held up beautifully and is much better than the cheaper, crocheted ears that so many riders use for their horses. Nothing is a hundred percent effective against a barrage of deer flies but this is as good as it gets, in combination with a fly whisk.

Beautiful and lightweight, no durability at all.

Buy one with color so you can find it in the pasture.

Fits her big head and covers her whole nose. Does a great job at protecting her nose from getting sunburnt. Planning on ordering one for my gelding as well

My horse is between and cob and horse size but, I bought this in the horse size and it fits with no issues. Looks very stylish and stays on. Cashel needs to make more colored and printed masks!

I love the simplicity of these masks. They are lightweight and wash well.

You get what you pay for - Cashel are the best I have tried. Mine last several years and I wash them in the washing machine.

This is the only flymask that stays on my horse, he gets every other one off.

My horse is 28 yrs old and the fly population drives him crazy om tje si,,er/ He goes through fly masks far too quickly for my acceptance. He will try to scratch hid face or poll and ends up tearing the mask. I try to keep a supply on hand. These are some of the best I have found.

This mask just will not stay away/off the eyes. I like the black mesh but they need better stiffer darts to keep it away from the eyes. Also sizes are weird. I originally bought the small horse/cob for my small horse. It really was against her eyes so I bought this horse size for her but it is too big for her around the chin. There’s a long section of the Velcro strap hanging off the side of her face. Won’t buy again.
