First of all This product is meant FOR RIDING not for pasture turn out They are sheer not to obstruct vision during riding With that being said, it is an excellent tool ! It is a must for humid buggy summer rides in Midwest I wash mine in soapy water with a hose after each ride They hold up great for many seasons

As always, Cashels are the best. Have a few that are several years old. Bought this only because an ancient one finally gave up the ghost--remember when they were black? It was that old. Expect this one to last many years too.

Weve used the Cashel Crusader fly masks before. I feel they give the best protection of any Ive tried. I like that my horses ears are protected, and the mask extends down to protect his nose. Also, there is enough room for his eyes. (Ive found that other types tend to fit too closely near the eye area.) In the past, the only problem I had with these (and other) masks was that my horse managed to get them off. This has been remedied by the addition of another Velcro strap that folds back across the bottom one under the jaw. At the end of the day, it is still securely in place! I highly recommend this fly mask.

Nice fly mask. Appears to be well made. Happens to match the shoofly leggings so cute way to make my horse more comfortable. Flies are awful!
