Cashel Crusader Fly Mask

The cob size works great for my small (14.2) Saddlebred mare. There is a little extra velcro but I just roll that into itself before I connect it - hence 4 stars. She only managed to slip it once but that may have been user error. I bought this in the summer and had it on my mare through the fall. Its held up well and works great!

Love these fly masks. Very durable and hold up to the rough housing my horses do.

Masks came in on time. They fit perfect. Unfortunately, after 3 days they both tore. I would expect several months of wear before I need to start patching.

Only designed for a season. After 2.5 month of use shows heavy battering. May have to reorder for next season

Fell off first day on, it only has one Velcro strap Holding it on, that is all

Dont know about the quality because I sent it to a friend to open and put on my horse. But the draft horse size was too small for my small draft so we had to return it.

after reading reviews I ordered the warmblood mask which is WAY TOO BIG for my giant quarter house mutt. So I suggest going a size smaller for any quarter horse. I have a hard time keeping masks on my guy but this one has stayed on for a few days and he doesnt seem to mind it!

Good product for the price. Nice and light weight. The screen material could almost be softer, I think it may be a little itchy. My horse is really good at taking this one off, so I took a star away because I keep it pretty “snug” and he still easily takes it off every few days. Other than that good for the price

The Cashel Crusader fly mask is good, because it holds up fairly well to all the biting, grabbing & horsing-around that my gelding quarter-horse Jack does with his gelding neigh-bors. Also, the velcro-fastener is long enough to overlap nicely to fit Jacks deeper-than-normal stallion-like jaw. Some other brands do not have long enough velcro fasteners.
