Cashel Crusader Fly Mask

I love the way this mask fastens. Much more secure than some of the other masks I have used. My foals cant grab any loose ends and pull off the adult mask. Got this for my mini and had to get another I liked it so much. Great mask!

I have had Cashel masks for years and love the durability. My horses keep them on and the flies can’t get to them. My complaint is the sizes seems to get smaller and smaller. I just ordered the same size as previous years and can’t even fasten the Velcro chin strap, nor does the mesh reach as far under the chin.

Measured my 10 hand Shetland and ordered foal/mini size based on the size chart. It was too small, both around the jaw and too narrow on the eyes. Returned for the next size up- weanling/small pony. Fit on the eyes is MUCH better but jaw Velcro is almost too big. Overall it will definitely work but it’s onviously that a pony’s head is shaped different that a colt. Just something to keep in mind if you’ve got a pony.

I have purchased a lot of fly masks over the years and am constantly disappointed by the fit and durability. I bought this one in draft size for my Clydesdale gelding who was being mobbed by the early onslaught of flies. I had purchased a draft size mask from the local feed store only to get it home and it was about the same size as the one I have for my quarter horse mare. I love that this actually is what it says - DRAFT sized and it is a very well made mask, no rub marks, no stiffness, it fits well and stays in place. Thank you!

I tried so many masks in an attempt to find a well-made mask that would fit my mini-donkeys, and this one does! Its made well so they cant get them off, the Velcro is strong, and my little rescued girls seem comfortable wearing them - glad I found them!

My horse lives outside 24/7 and wears this mask all day and night in the summery fly months. This mask has held up and it actually stays on!!! I would definitely recommend this mask to anyone whose horse is in need of a fly mask. I bought his fly mask back in May 2015 and it will definitely last him through this summer and the next!

Yes fit well and god quality. Would recommend.

Overall a good product, except the velcro is sewn in an odd way. Kind of difficult to figure out how to connect the velcro to each other.

Easy to put on and fits perfectly. Does the job for what it is intended for

Well made but my mare can get out of it, so I dont use anymore.
