The best feature of these sturdy and well-constructed swivel casters is the amply-sized metal plate or pedal one depresses with the tip of one’s shoe to lock the wheels. Bought these because the ones in the hardware stores have a puny wheel-locking lever on the side of the wheel which looks difficult to engage, whereas these have a good-sized pedal to step on to lock the wheels. Placed them on an auxiliary table hand-built for a garage woodworking shop and so far very satisfied.

Wonderful experience

Buy them. Used them on wood workbench for the garage. Rolls very smoothly over concrete and sawdust. Locking just 2 wheels allows me to climb on the workbench without it moving or rocking.

Started to install these and realized I was only sent 10 washers to go with the 20 screws. Guess Im stuck figuring out how to get 6 more washers so I can use all 16 attachment holes.

I ordered 40 of these for a production run of a product and I was very impressed. ~The packaging was very well done ~They were delivered quickly and in good condition, they come with 2 fastening solutions (a lag screw for wood and soft materials, and a nut and bolt for things like plate steel or sheet metal) ~They come with plenty of extra hardware so I ended up with a good portion of leftovers for another project ~They lock and unlock very easily and the locking mechanism locks the wheel from rolling and swiveling, making these much more sturdy than a typical locking caster. Overall these are fantastic and I can personally attest to this brand, in particular, being very good, I looked all over the internet and Amazon and these are one of the cheapest versions of this style caster with a good weight rating and the diameter I needed and they are certainly worth every penny. Dont get stuck paying $25+ per caster at the hardware store, do yourself a favor and buy these if they match the specs of your project or application.
