Im not an ethernet cable expert but these worked well for what I wanted. Wanted something to staple along the baseboard of the wall so I can stop tripping over cables. I used one of those staples with the two nails on the side and the plastic piece in the middle so it doesnt damage the cable. Speed seems fine. I didnt test it because I dont know how to but for surfing the net, it works. I got this free in exchange for my unbiased review. GOOD

***Update*** the seller reached out to me and send me a replacement product at no additional charge. those cables tested ok, so perhaps it was a singular fluke. *************** This is the second time (According to Amazon) Ive ordered these cables. Ive not had any issues with them, I prefer the cat6 flat cables. due to changes in our port security standards at work, I had to eliminate my desk switch and have new lines run and I bought more of these for easy and clean routing to my workbench. First use - 3 of the 4 I was using worked fine - but one would not get an ip - Check my wiring back to the network closet and theres no link at the switch - verify its not coming up with a change in ports. Take a laptop and the cable back to the switch - try a known good port - still no connection. Test it on a fluke meter - bad connection, most likely incorrectly terminated. Thankfully the 5th one was good so its not interrupting my work. On amazon chat now attempting to replace the one thats bad... and they cant do a replacement without return... so Im getting my money back. I guess its a good thing I only needed 4.
