Dont have previous editions to compare to - but I thought the quality of the extension and of the base game itself was quite good. Very fun for those who havent tried it. Didnt have any trouble with the cutouts and managed to fit the extension and the base into one box as well.

This game is a lot of fun! The expansion pack is nice, except it would be nice if they somehow marked the pieces differently than the original game pieces to easily separate when putting away. We dont always need the expansion pack, so we had to mark the pieces ourselves. Other than that, the game itself is awesome, and the expansion pack allows more players to join in on that fun.
