Should have bought these when I started knitting again10 years ago. Even if you are just learning to knit you should splurge and buy these 5 pointy needles.

I finally splurged for a nice set of interchangeables. These are like the cadillac of knitting needles. I love the smoothness of the join between the needle and the cable as well as the flexibility of the cables. It makes magic loop a breeze. I also like the nice carrying case the set comes in. The only down side is that occasionally the needle comes unscrewed. I have spoken to others who have the same needles and some have this issue while others dont. Maybe it has to do with how tight of a knitter you are. I am a really tight knitter. The set also comes with a needle gauge and stitch markers.

These are the best interchangeable needles that Ive tried. I was knitting a sweater in the round on another set, and the cord kept twisting like crazy. I moved it over to these needles, and havent had a problem. The cables truley are memory free, and needles themselves are so smooth, the yarn moves over them with no snags or problems. The key hole to tighten the needles also acts as a lifeline, so that you can easily add lifelines into your knitting without having to go back and do it by hand. As a new knitter, I found this invaluable!!

I love my ChiaGoo knitting needles! They glide beautifully while Im working. I have seen reviews about the cables coming unconnected. The first time I used them that did happen to me, but it was because I didnt use the T shaped key to tighten the needle to the cable. There is also a zipper pocket on the front of the case to hold the accessories.
