Chosen (Gem Creek Bears Book 1)

The plot was interesting and Ill be reading the next one for sure! I was kind of hoping for more action in this one but I want to know what happens next.

A fast paced entertaining tale that grips the reader from the very beginning. Definitely leaves one looking for the next book.

This was a quick read filled with action and mystery. The beginning starts off with a major conflict that leads to a new world for the main character. Im interested to see where the next book goes.

Great start to a new series. I have read other books and series from this author such as Mirror Lake Wolves and this book does not disappoint!

Not sure if it just my mood but I just dont feel a pull to read the next book in this series, even though I would like to see the two main characters get together. The heroin is actually a pretty strong character. Love that she is a fighter and not just expect everyone else to solve her problems. The hero and his family are intriguing enough but the mystical part of the story kinda feels rushed and not fleshed out. Im sure the author will probably explain this more in the other books but I was left wanting more but not in a good way that makes it a must read for me.

Definitely enjoyed this book. Bought the second book before I even finished this one. Fast paced. Lots going on to keep me fully interested. I really enjoyed the characters. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Neat drama unfolds in this tale with tricks and traps setting the story. Light romance and magic evolves within the people.

So the story in itself was fine but if I had just been attacked I would be in survival mode. I definitely wouldn’t worry about a hot guy. Her reckless behavior bothered me several times. Then the whole mating with the head of the shifter clan felt a bit skeevy. She is right out of high school and the alpha in his 20s at least. This happened in hunt as well. Like give the girls a chance at growing up. I like the characters they are all well done and the story idea is interesting, I just felt like common sense wasn’t much of a factor even though she is smart.

This is a really good book. I have not read the rest of the series yet. I have to say I really love the characters. They were well rounded and I was able to connect with them well. My only critic is I felt the book ended to soon. I felt that ifnthis was were the author wished to end this book then there could have been more build up and character interactions especially with Liam and his brothers. Either way though it really was a good read and I will be reading the rest of the series.
