> 24 hourThis key is a great portable key. For having such a small size, It responds well and more importantly has a good weight for such as small key. The material and finish are very nice. It also has a nice little travel bag to protect the key. I would recomend this to anyone wanting to do portable CW operations.

> 24 hourI was looking for a new key to keep with my portable transciever when on vacation. This looked like a good value and the reviews were all quite favorable. It arrived within two days and I was immediately impressed with the solid feel and quality of the workmanship. Once I adjusted to my liking, I went on the air and proceeded to use it for two hours straight. I was very happy with the overall feel and performance and can honestly say that it rivals my Vibroplex keyer, which cost over twice as much! The only disappointment for me was the supplied cord, which was too short for my radios, which have the key jacks on the back. Add a foot to the cord and it will be perfect. I had a spare cord that I immediately put to use and the problem was solved. I highly recommend this and may purchase another one, just to have a spare.

> 24 hourIve had this for a week, and have *not* noted any problems with electrical contacts as some reviews have mentioned. ... I wire this in parallel with my paddle-key, so i can switch back & forth between straight key and paddle, on the same radio.

> 24 hourGreat little straight key for POTA. Quality is top notch, adjustable, and very comfortable to use. Strong magnets in base under the silicone rubber feet. Magnetic return is adjustable as is the contact gap. Really looking forward to activating a park with this thing.

> 24 hourI, personally, use paddles mainly when operating CW. I wanted a straight key so I could try to get a handle on my timing when sending. This key is very well built! It feels very sturdy and can be easily adjusted to preference. It includes a cable as well as a little pouch to store it in. Even as I mentioned, Im very new to straight keying and ham fisted my way through a few QSOs...but it certainly wasnt the key at fault! I believe this is a great option for a minimal as well as somewhat substantial portable straight key!

> 24 hourI own over a dozen keys, including both the Putikeeg straight key and their dual paddle. The Putikeeg are my preferred keys for portable use, but fit right in at the main shack. They look good, feel good to use and are a quality-made product. If they made a cootie, id by that too hihi

> 24 hourThe key design itself is very nice and the adjustment for travel is well done. The adjustable magnetic resistance works as it should. A true novice might have a learning curve getting it to work right but someone with a straight key experience can get it to be a good-functioning key.

> 24 hourI want to be clear up front, Im barely dipping a toe into the whole realm of CW. That means, to a degree, I dont know what Im talking about. However, I really like this key. It has a very solid feel with a lot of heft in the base. I tested it on my radio, and it worked like a champ. Nothing other than telling the radio I was doing CW was needed, and this thing got the job done (even if I was sending, extremely slowly). You adjust the front and back contacts independently. You can even take it all apart and get some (sold separately) magnets to mount it to a plate or your radio directly (assuming a metal case). The color is nice. Construction is from great material. Overall, I couldnt be more pleased with my first CW key.
