> 3 dayI want to be clear up front, Im barely dipping a toe into the whole realm of CW. That means, to a degree, I dont know what Im talking about. However, I really like this key. It has a very solid feel with a lot of heft in the base. I tested it on my radio, and it worked like a champ. Nothing other than telling the radio I was doing CW was needed, and this thing got the job done (even if I was sending, extremely slowly). You adjust the front and back contacts independently. You can even take it all apart and get some (sold separately) magnets to mount it to a plate or your radio directly (assuming a metal case). The color is nice. Construction is from great material. Overall, I couldnt be more pleased with my first CW key.

> 3 dayGreat little straight key for POTA. Quality is top notch, adjustable, and very comfortable to use. Strong magnets in base under the silicone rubber feet. Magnetic return is adjustable as is the contact gap. Really looking forward to activating a park with this thing.

> 3 dayThis key is a great portable key. For having such a small size, It responds well and more importantly has a good weight for such as small key. The material and finish are very nice. It also has a nice little travel bag to protect the key. I would recomend this to anyone wanting to do portable CW operations.

> 3 dayI, personally, use paddles mainly when operating CW. I wanted a straight key so I could try to get a handle on my timing when sending. This key is very well built! It feels very sturdy and can be easily adjusted to preference. It includes a cable as well as a little pouch to store it in. Even as I mentioned, Im very new to straight keying and ham fisted my way through a few QSOs...but it certainly wasnt the key at fault! I believe this is a great option for a minimal as well as somewhat substantial portable straight key!

> 3 dayIve had this for a week, and have *not* noted any problems with electrical contacts as some reviews have mentioned. ... I wire this in parallel with my paddle-key, so i can switch back & forth between straight key and paddle, on the same radio.

> 3 dayThe key I received, large size, did not have the knob pictured on the left of my photo, but the dish-top knob thats on the small size key on the right. Is there a way to obtain the left knob? This would be a five star review if not for that. The dish top knob causes fatigue in my wrist. Thank you.

> 3 dayVery solid, well built. The magnetic adjustment is very precise. I expected magnetic hold for the base but it is heavy enough and has felt pads so it’s not needed.

> 3 dayThis small key looks great. It is nicely made and the finish is perfect. Non-skid feet. Easy to adjust the spacing and tension.

Greater than one weekI bought this as my portable key, but its rapidly becoming my favourite key all-round. I replaced the knob with a wooden drawer-pull because I prefer that feel, but other than that its great.
