Clover 1053/K Amour Crochet Hook, Size K/6.5mm , Green

This hook feels so good to use. Its so lightweight and feels really good in my (knife) grip. I love it. Do not recommend using with acrylic yarn, though. It feels really scratchy and weird.

So smooth and light with the soft handle! Does not get caught in yarns! I simply love it. I wish it has in hook L too.

I am using this hook and I love how light weight it is. I find it more comfortable that the metal hooks. I also bought the size 8mm and 15mm.

Last year I bought a set of Clover Amour hooks at a local craft store, and theyre amazing. While this one comes under the same brand/style, it is not the same quality. The hook part is hard plastic, instead of metal. The grip is also hard plastic, instead of the nice rubberized grip on my other hooks (which allow me to crochet for hours with no discomfort). For close to $9 for one hook, I expected better. Its not a size I will use often - its for a couple of specific projects - so it will do, but Im disappointed.

I love the Amour hooks and I use size K a lot but was hesitant to purchase because it was plastic. I finally bought this one because it was discounted at a ridiculous amount. I’m glad I didn’t buy it at full price because I didn’t care for it. Sure it’s comfortable but it feels different and not a good different. That’s just my opinion. It’s still a good hook so I give it a 4 star. The Tulip brand has a size K that isn’t plastic and I love that one. It’s similar to the Amour hooks.

I love these Clover Hooks - this size is great and the hook is nice and light.
