I have been crocheting for over 60 years and these are perfect for thicker yarn projects. They are light, crochet smooth with the yarn, no splitting, hands don’t cramp or hurt (which have arthritis), and project can be worked quickly because of the smoothness work with the yarn. I even purchased the smaller sizes to try them.

I love everything about Clover crochet hooks. I own these larger hooks for working with thicker yarns. They are very light and comfortable to hold. Just like their smaller metal hooks these are so smooth working through the yarn. Just like their smaller hooks they are a bit more expensive, but worth it to me. I think Clover makes the best crochet hooks, and I have a large collection of other brands I don’t even use now.
