This addition to the Occulus Quest is very comfortable to wear but, after not quite 2 months of use, the rubber cushioning is detaching from the hard plastic frame. It re-attaches easily as the adhesive remains on the rubber but it is just so annoying to have to do that every time the family wants to use the Occulus. 5 stars for making the Occulus very comfortable to wear and use. 1 star for the durability of the product.

I was really hoping this would be a solid alternative to the basic strap and boy was i WRONG. This strap is the most uncomfortable and the LOUDEST squeaking strap I’ve ever tried. It’s either too tight or too loose and if it’s too tight your eye lashes touch the lenses it’s just a down right awful product.

Very comfortable. This strap improved my experience significantly. Was a little difficult to attach to the headset, but once on, it seems very sturdy. Be careful when buying a case though. The height of this strap will make it too big for many of the cases here. Also, you can attach a battery(see photo).

While the fit and comfort is better than the original, the top strap tends to curl over time digging into the scalp. I have wrapped my top strap with a bandana to provide a cushion which corrects the problem for me.

So after 3 weeks of testing I feel I can leave a review now. The product itself is good and does what it is intended. I was dealing with multiple headaches when using the original Oculus quest 2 straps. Setting up still requires you to mess around with the perfect adjustment and angles. You wont be able to just pop it on and call it a day. Pros: *Reduces forehead pressure as well as back head *Easy to adjust the tightness *Easy to adjust the angle of the headset *Seems sturdy on the material Cons: *Unable to lay down (back head on surface) with headset on due to the strap being hard and pushes headset off. You may be able to lay down but there is a potential of putting too much pressure and breaking the plastic. You can probably put pillows behind you but you still cannot fully rest your head back comfortably. *Obviously instructions were terrible, however, the assembly was fairly easy to do. The main issue was if you snapped the pieces wrong. It would be a pain to unsnap with a risk of breaking the small clips. I almost broke one when I put the wrong side on. *Head strap will leave a lot of hair oil if not cleaned from other users. *Head strap has to be pulled hard to adjust the tightness and will make a bit of noise.

Purchased for my son because the original head strap that came with his oculus was falling apart, I’ve waited a few months to see how this would hold up and it’s still in great shape it’s so much easier for him to use and when he has friends over it’s very quick to adjust the size with the knob on the back

The stiffer frame of this head strap and support for the back of head make for a more secure, Comfortable fit. You can use the dial on back to loosen/tighten to get a snug fit. I use quest for exercise and this works great keeping it on my head!

This product is 100 percent worth the money with the old strap it felt like the oculus was weighing down and the strap way holding it to your head but with this it feels the the oculus is part of ur head its a whole different experience beside the comfort the in game resolution is so much clearer and better every one is complaining about the instructions but its common sense to put it together prob took me around 10 min

This strap is perfect! Easy to adjust and sturdy, great upgrade!!
