> 24 hourThis CB is great for a jeep extremely compact. I’d doesnt come with a Cigarette lighter adapter but you shouldn’t plug a CB into that in the first place.

> 24 hourWhen you buy this, make sure to budget for mounting hardware and an external antenna, and a power adapter, depending on how you are going to install it. It comes with everything you need to mount it to your vehicles electrical system, but if you want it very mobile, then you might want to buy a power port adapter. We wanted it to use between vehicles for when we go on longer trips, and its really perfect for that if you get a antenna that can be moved but they can withstand highway speeds. It comes with information on how to use it, but thats really very simple. It doesnt come with information on how to really install it which is what you need! Its a good little unit with clear transmission, and the cord is long enough if its in the middle that both passengers in the front can easily use it. Unfortunately a lot of truckers these days are using the internet and headsets to communicate. Theres very little traffic locally here! When we realize this we ask around and thats when we found out that some trucking companies have banned CBS all together-stating that insurance and distracted driving rules wouldnt let them have them. I checked distracted driving laws in Georgia and it allows for CBs. It might be different from state to state.

> 24 hourIve used this brand for a long time and was stoked to be able to review this. You have to have it mounted and since we were doing a rear camera for our trailer, we put this in as well. Great price and i like that its small so it doesnt take up hardly any space and you can put it discreetly in a place without much attention unless someones really looking in your car for nefarious reasons.

> 24 hourCobra has always been a good name in car electronics. You will need to use an antenna with this, and it can be plugged into the cigarette lighter, although I think its not recommended. To hook it up that way. I recommend my friend, breaker, breaker 19. Thank you. God bless you. May the rest of your life be the best of your life. OZ

> 24 hourIve got several BIG Cobra radios sitting on the shelf that used to live in my big SUVs... but I miss the access to information on road trips that CB provides when driving my car. This is the perfect solution. Its tiny and when its time to road trip- I simply stick it in the little ash tray area in my car and slap a magnetic mount antenna on the trunk lid. I had to add a cig lighter plug to it- and I really think Cobra missed the chance to make this perfect by not including one. Sure, its best to hard-wire, but many people will be buying this for portability as well. It works well, simple controls and a good price. Too bad all those big chrome Cobra radios with dozens of features are retired now- but small and simple wins in this case, without giving up any range.

> 24 hourIt was nice to open up the box and see this compact CB-- my first impression was -- Its a Cobra-- the top name in CBs back in the old days. I really liked the compact size-- it was easy to find a place to mount it and-- it wasnt so large that you could see it from outside the car. My old CB (in my other car, a 1973 Chevy) and I traveled through day and night - finding like-minded users thru the airwaves on empty highways and was a great 2 am listen-to when I was camping in my car -- the chatter at all hours of the day and night was a wonderful companion. Using this Cobra brought back these great memories from 40 years ago....but... the good old days of CB usage are gone-- I found very few other users in my area. This model is sparse-- fewer buttons, more advanced but it felt a little less user-friendly in that I had more bells and whistles on my old CB. However, Cobra has made yet another good product, in keeping with its good name, the price is ok -- and Im glad this maker is continuing the legend.
