Coffee Tamper 58mm Barista Espresso Base Coffee Bean Press

I needed a second tamper for my espresso machine at work. I didnt want to spend as much as I did on my home one and this looked nice. It totally exceeded my expectations. This is really nice and heavy. It feels every be as nice of quality as my fancy one costing 3 times as much. The shape of the top could be a little flatter to make it more comfortable for your palm, but if you press more with your fingers on the top of the flat part, then its perfect. I highly recommend this.

It came a little loose but once I tightened real good I havent had any more issues.

I didnt have any of the issues referenced in the low rated reviews. Handle is solid, metal has no cosmetic issues. It performs as expected. Fits my expresso filter perfectly. Im pleased with the product after 3 months use.

Ok, so Im not the most experienced home barista, lol, but based on all the YouTube videos Ive seen, I definitely needed something better than the ill-fitting plastic tamper that came with my Gaggia Classic Pro espresso machine. So I took a chance on this tamper and Im happy I did. I thought an expensive tamper was really overkill and kind of ridiculous (at least for me), but I found this reasonably priced one, and my espresso shots are awesome! My only beef with this tamper is that sometimes when Im tamping, the tamper unscrews itself from the handle, which is annoying. Im not sure why its not more securely fastened -- but its really not a huge issue and overall I feel this one has tremendous value for its price. Other hardcore espresso affeccionados may disagree but, hey Im not planning to open a cafe anytime soon :)

Wife loves it, but it got stuck. She said I should have gone smaller. Be sure to use lube.

Great upgrade to my current setup

Heavy, good quality, good price, fits the Mr. Coffee espresso portafilter, makes a perfectly flat tamp, good size. No Complaints!

Its over than my expectation. Good shape, nice texture, no sticking coffee powder. Very good.

Went for this compared to the more expensive options. No regret at all. Great weight. Perfect finish. Very premium. Fits breville bambino.
