Greater than one weekVery well made. Solid and comfortable to use. I don’t know why you’d need to spend more

> 3 dayThis is definitely a nice upgrade to the included tampers with Breville machines. It has a nice weight and solid feel to it. Definitely sturdy, but does not have precision tolerances. To be fair, it isnt advertised as being a precision tamper, but just know that you will need to be make sure that you are tamping evenly. There is still enough room between the tamper and the wall of the portafilter basket for the tamper to come down at an angle and create an uneven bed. Overall, still not a bad value, just be aware of what youre getting for the money.

> 3 dayWhat can you say? It tamps espresso grounds, fits the standard 58mm portafilter well. No complaints

> 3 dayI didnt have any of the issues referenced in the low rated reviews. Handle is solid, metal has no cosmetic issues. It performs as expected. Fits my expresso filter perfectly. Im pleased with the product after 3 months use.

> 3 dayI bought this item to use with my gaggia carezza espresso machine thinking that I will need it. But with the machine I really dont have to use it I just like it very much so Im keeping it just in case I would need it in the future.

> 3 dayOk, so Im not the most experienced home barista, lol, but based on all the YouTube videos Ive seen, I definitely needed something better than the ill-fitting plastic tamper that came with my Gaggia Classic Pro espresso machine. So I took a chance on this tamper and Im happy I did. I thought an expensive tamper was really overkill and kind of ridiculous (at least for me), but I found this reasonably priced one, and my espresso shots are awesome! My only beef with this tamper is that sometimes when Im tamping, the tamper unscrews itself from the handle, which is annoying. Im not sure why its not more securely fastened -- but its really not a huge issue and overall I feel this one has tremendous value for its price. Other hardcore espresso affeccionados may disagree but, hey Im not planning to open a cafe anytime soon :)

> 3 dayI bought a Breville that grinds and tamps, but often the grounds are a little messy at the top. Admittedly, Im not using this tamper like a true barista would. But it cleans the top of the grounds in the portafilter nicely. Works great for me!

> 3 dayThe handle gets tendency to unscrew, will need to apply some hot glue.

> 3 dayI replaced the plastic tamper that came with my espresso maker with this tamper. This is a nice looking, nice feeling, easy to clean, and, most importantly, an effective tamper. If I had to buy again, I would buy this one again.
