> 3 dayThis game couldnt be any simpler to learn but packs a great deal of strategic thinking and fun into a small package. Its truly a great accomplishment to create a game that depth to complexity ratio. This is one of those games. You will find yourself agonizing over the best play to make but you wont have to have your mind clouded by trying to remember a ton of rules. This is one of those games that will having people saying: lets play that again. The games are not too long - just long enough. The artwork on the cards is intriguing and its simplicity allows the players to focus on the strategy of the game. After playing this game, I am very interested in finding a copy of the companys zoo themed game. Sometimes a successful game like this is an advertisement for another game. I look forward to finding and buying that one as well.

Greater than one weekThe 10 year anniversary edition by Rio Grande games and AbacusSpiele is the best version and includes the Gold wild card, as well as distinctive artwork on the cards (helpful if people playing have colorblindness).

Greater than one weekVery simple concept but it is still a delightfully competitive game. I wouldnt recommend it for just two people, though, as luck then seems to dictate more than strategy. But a great group option.

Greater than one weekGreat game. Bought this one as a gift. It is something that can include young children but isnt mind-blurring for adults. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayMy teenagers and I all enjoyed this great game. It was fast to learn and has a great mix of strategy and luck. My only wish is if there was some trading element to the game. Oh and its only 5 players... a 7 or 8 player expansion would be welcome Its small and fits in a purse too..

> 3 dayReally fun game for a wide audience, replay value is only about 200 games for me, after a few seasons of this game youll be bored. But thats great for the price and its simple so anyones kids or parents can join in. Also there is enough to think about so if you really wanna challenge yourself you can keep your card counting skills up.

> 3 dayColoretto has very simple rules: each time its your turn you either add a card to a stack or take a stack. You want a lot of cards of three colors, but not a lot of other cards. From these simple rules, comes a very elegant game, with enough strategy that playing randomly will get you into last place, but enough luck that youre unlikely to feel like you dont have a chance against an expert. This is an excellent way for serious family gamers to start or end a game night, or for very casual gamers its a great way to spend an evening.

Greater than one weekI had played an online version of this game before I bought it so I knew that I wanted it, but I was very happy with the quality of the cards and the packaging. It doesnt waste space, the cards fit almost exactly in the box. The game its self is a good mix of strategy and luck. It is very simple to learn and play, but it has enough variation to have a lot of replay value. I recommend it as a light game with minimal setup. The two people who I first played my copy with went out and bought one for themselves.
