Greater than one weekI feel like somebody now! This is one awesome piece of equipment. It makes my well worn MFJ look like a crude piece of junk! Plus it will do uhf that I couldn’t do with the MFJ. Making and experimenting with home made antennas is really fun and now even more so.

> 3 dayThis new antenna analyzer by Comet is great. It is very solidly constructed. I love the combination of analog needles and the digital lcd display. The ham radio presets are perfect. I recently installed several new ham radio antennas and used this meter to adjust and test each one before connecting to my radios. The band sweep function is great as you put the indicator on the ham band you will be testing. Then press the band sweep button and a swr curve is displayed on the lcd screen across the entire frequency range being tested. This unit will also graph and overlap up to 5 readings, perfect for making antenna adjustments and seeing how the changes have affected the swr. I highly recommend purchasing the optional soft case as this is a very high precision testing instrument that you will want to protect. It also runs on either 6 alkaline or rechargeable AA batteries and includes a built in battery charger. An optional ac-dc adapter is required and can be used to power the unit or recharge the batteries. The one thing to keep in mind with this analyzer is that it does not compensate for coax cable connected to the antenna. You will need to use a very short piece of coax cable while testing but this is not a great problem. As a ham radio operator, I highly recommend this antenna analyzer for any shack since it is both a precision and cost effective solution for testing and tuning your antennas!

> 3 dayDid not come with batteries, and the charging wire needs some supply voltage. The should have at least included a proper charger. Otherwise, so far it seems to work well. I can test antennas to see if we have a problem there or somewhere else.

> 3 dayYou will find the price anywhere from $300.00 up to $800.00, so shop around. If you like building HF antennas or just about any antenna you need a quality analyzer and this is the top of the line.
