I would give a 5 but the clip will not stay in place. I want to put the clip upright but it falls upside down; the clip is not strong enough to stay upright.

I live and work on a ship in the Bering Sea. You can see in my pic how I jury rigged the fan into my bunk, right next to my head. It gets hot and stuffy inside ship bunks with the curtain closed. This great fan solves both those problems. The cord is long enough to extend to an outlet. I see other customers wanting a fan that produces zero noise for their perfect controlled office world - well, I appreciate the gentle level of noise produced by the fan when its on the high setting. It creates a solid white noise to fall asleep to. Having it right next to my head help drown out the rest of the noise made by all the nonsense going on in the 24hr running ship. So I slept better with cycled air and white noise with the fan. Good fan.

If the product description was more truthful, I would have probably still bought it and gave it 5 stars in a review, but I really dont like manufacues and sellers stateing false claims. Its only wisper quiet when its off. When its on, low or high, it makes the same amount of wind noise you would expect from a fan like this.

We liked this fan so much for our RV we bought a second one for our bedroom at home. This is very easy to adjust and is pretty darn quiet. The clip holds it securely and you can rotate the fan itself to a desired angle. So far, I havent found anything NOT to like about it.

This fan barely blows on low and on high its not too good neither, I think my grandmother can blow harder than this fan.

My fiance and i were getting things we needed for the hospital for when we have our baby it shipped fast and was on my door step within a week. It was perfect and got the job done with no complaints from her. It was quite. Love how adjustable it is. Move enough air to keep her cool. Worth the purchase. Better than the name brand ones weve looked at and have had in the past. We give it 5 stars. And recommend it.

EDIT: Since writing this review I contacted the seller to report the issues I had with the fan. It was very easy to contact the seller, and I was sent a new fan free of charge. They stand behind their “lifetime warranty” so I am upping my review to 4 stars. I bought this fan less than a year ago, and now its broken. The fan shutters and makes loud noises when it is running, and the output has decreased significantly since the first use (probably a bad bearing). I use it at night time for my son during the summer months, and it is on for 12 hours at night (on a timer). I would not recommend purchasing this fan, and Ill be purchasing something different to replace this one.
