Ive had a slouching problem most of my life. When youre a female with a ddd bra size the girls tend to weigh your shoulders down. Ive noticed the past few months the slouch problem is feeling more like a hunch problem. Just prior to Christmas I saw this listed on a 50 Items you never knew you needed list. I thought Id give it a try. First off, this thing is darned near impossible to get on by yourself. Thank goodness I have a partner to help me into this torture device. Just joking. He strapped me into it yesterday morning and I ended up wearing it for about four hours. It helped to pull my shoulders back and gave me a much straighter spine. Even after taking it off I felt like I stood straighter and I didnt slouch as much. Even this morning waking up I noticed I stood straighter. Over the past 10 years Ive suffered from frozen shoulders. (both shoulders) Due to that I have to do the Ol Hook and Twist with the bra in the morning and at bedtime. I noticed when I had the brace on that I could actually reach behind my back and touch my bra hooks. Ive not been able to do that in a couple of years due to frozen shoulders. That was only with the brace on though. On the downside, the shoulder straps do cut into your arm pits. No more so than a backpack, but I had the strap on over clothes so not terribly uncomfortable. Im going to give this a go daily for a 2 week trial period and see how it does. Ill report back when Ive tested it a bit longer. One last thing, the rubber Comfort Brace tab ripped off the end of the shoulder strap during the very first try on session. Not happy about that.

I bought this for my 15 year old daughter whose posture is atrocious. She had been begging for one for forever, so I finally settled on this one after pouring over reviews. I had hoped it would be as great as many people said- and there’s a chance that it is. Unfortunately we wouldn’t know, as she outright refuses to wear it due to its lack of comfort.

Brace works great for my needs based on how Ive been using it so far. I use it as a tool to posture check myself. It has lead me to a better posture, relief of pain and is a good physical reminder not to strain myself so it works as an injury prevention in my case. I have chronic back pain but never saw anyone for it until the event that cause me to also purchase this corrector: I threw out my back playing with son and was walking around hunched over, embarrassing my wife. I felt my 30+ years of bad posture had something to attribute to the premature weakening that lead me to the pain to make the purchase but all I knew was I needed to buy a posture corrector that could be there next day. I was up late when I made the order after giving up trying to sleep from being in so much pain. I chose to buy the Comfy Brace over other brands for several reasons. When searching braces on Amazon, there are currently being promoted as a sponsored result. I tend to window shop with every purchase I make, even when in pain. Other brands had designs that I wouldnt want to wear out to the park so I ruled them out but I liked the subtleness of the comfybrace logo. Touching it now that I have it, I have to note that its not just a tag cheaply glued on. The logo on the spine is a nice 3D rubber/silicone slab stitched into the brace material in a symmetry that even my OCD is pleased to witness. I ruled out other braces as options because of the tightening mechanism. I have to deal with those buckles enough with my sons diaper bags and car seats so I knew the velcro that comfybrace used would be easy. Having now used it I can ensure anyone that the velcro is very strong and will hold back any slouching attempts with extreme resistance if thats how tight its set. The velcro feels like a softer kind designed for customer hands and is stitched in nicely with the other materials. The straps also have matching tabs that are the same great quality as the logo on the spine. This extra effort in the label actually makes it feel even more like a quality item. Anyway, after deciding to go with comfybrace and getting it the next day I was immediately glad I bought their brace. I knew about these years ago and instantly regretted not getting one when I first learned about them. I am a believer that I would not have been injured so easily if I had been using this as a prevention/repair already. I wore it while my back healed and I stand up straighter than I have in years. Its caused me to straighten my neck and lift my head up and given me confidence. Im not saying its magic, but just like with diet and exercise this helped me get through the physical pain of hurting my back and also the emotional pain of knowing Im getting old. I need to wear as a posture check still but its made me more aware of my body and has worked great for me in addition to changing habits. I like to think of it like a shock collar, its a tool to get a result but its not going to fix my back alone.

Even though it works perfectly for me I can see why theres some negative reviews. Even though its a One Size Fits All, the size seems to be perfect for a womans medium (which I am) so I cant imagine it fitting comfortably on a man. Maybe only smaller men. Edit: After using it for around 2 weeks, I dont use it anymore, because I dont need it. The corrector gave me a feel for how my posture should be so I can now fix it on my own. I didnt even know my head could go so high. It honestly must have added like 2 inches to my height lol A BIG complaint is a few days into using it the motion of sliding the straps over my shoulders like a backpack made one of my shoulders ache for like 2 days.

I dont write many reviews on Amazon especially for a product that already has 15,000 reviews, but I had to write this one. Ive been a computer analyst for 25 years and hunch over a laptop every day for hours. My posture is really bad and I have pain in my neck, occipital area, shoulder tops and between shoulder blades. Ive spent so much money over the years trying back braces, special bras, special tension shirts to pull back shoulders, neck stretchers, at-home traction devices, etc. But THIS IS THE BEST product Ive ever tried for shoulder repositioning and support. I usually dont even bother with these type of products anymore, but this one was cheap and my neck was hurting so I thought, What have I got to lose other than 20 bucks? This actually works!!! Ive had it for a month or so and each time I wear it, I wear it longer and notice it less, and when I take it off, I still find myself pulling my shoulders back. It can be difficult to put on, but put your hands behind your back like you are getting handcuffed (not that I ever have, lol) and slip the brace around your wrists and then work it up to your shoulders. It is SO WORTH THE MONEY and I would repurchase with no hesitation.

I was in a pretty bad car accident about 15 years ago. My posture has suffered and I was getting pretty bad migraines as time progressed. I purchased this item as well as a chiropractic neck pillow. The posture brace made me sore with migraines the first week. I attributed this to my body trying to readjust. Several months have passed and my posture has completely changed . I am confident enough to wear my hair up and show my neck. I had a forward head posture and rounded shoulders , both have significantly improved . I have to use the brace more for maintenance now. I get headaches when I need to wear it; after I immediately feel better . I also wear the brace until I can feel my upper thoracic tension decrease . In the beginning I could only wear the brace for 3-5 minutes . I get immediate relief with the release .. this sometimes takes and hour depending on the severity of the tension. I also use the chiropractic pillow which I purchased first … but I didn’t get the most relief until I started with the posture brace . I honestly look like a different person and and I am more confident as well.

I suffer from a lot of upper back pain/issues, and when I wear this for a few days a week (1-2 hours at a time) it is noticeably better afterwards. It really helps to pull the shoulders back and improve posture, relieving some of the pain and fatigue in the upper back. Overall I’d definitely recommend!

Yes, it does work assisting in good posture. I found it pulled my shoulders back, causing me to sit/stand straighter and I did find I was straighter even after I took it off. It is very uncomfortable, as others have stated, so I expected that when I got it. Whats the hardest for me is adjusting the straps. If you loosen it so you can slip it on easily, the tabs that you pull to tighten it, are way in the back where I cant reach. So I have to put it on when it is tight and squeeze into it. Not the easiest thing to do.

Today I received a letter from the owner of the Comfy Brace company. It was in regards to reviewing her product and that in these strange times, how difficult it is to keep a small business going. So, this review is written to support her and her product. It is written without bias and I am a real customer. Let’s start with my problem and why I needed something to help my posture. I have been a chef for almost 30 years and as you can guess, for most of that time I’ve been bent over a cooker, pass or chopping board. Bending over to pick up boxes, sacks of vegetables and on my knees cleaning out fridges and freezers. Now, at the age of 46, I have a small private chef business and I’m working less hours for more money! Nice. However, my wife has alway had to tell my to stand up straight and put my shoulders back. Problem is, I couldn’t! After doing some research into back support products I came across this product from Comfy Brace. It was inexpensive (compared with some products that run into $100’s “Hey what the hell, it’s like $20 plus shipping!” I wore it for a few hours a day and to be honest, it wasn’t all that “Comfy”, but then, it’s not supposed to be at the start. It’s purpose is to bring your posture back to where it is comfortable. The more you wear it the more comfortable it becomes! After 1 month of using it daily for 3-4 hours, I’m standing straight and my shoulders naturally back. I’ve also noticed that my breathing has become more regular since I’m not cramping up my chest and, get this, my wife says I’ve stopped snoring too! Now I can’t be certain that this is because of the brace, I’m not a doctor! But it is no coincidence that its happened in the last 30 days. Conclusion, the more you wear it, the better you will feel.
