> 3 dayI work as a lash artist and this is great for helping my posture. Even on days I forget to wear it I notice myself straightening my posture more. Only down side is it does irritate my underarms at time.

> 3 dayI havent tried the brace. I bought it before I talked to my Physical Therapy doctor. And when I talked with the doctor, he made it clear that this brace will make me dependent on the brace, rather than strengthening my own muscles so I dont need a brace. The manufacturer tells us as much in their product description. Paraphrasing: You can start with a few minutes a day and then after a short time you can wear it all the time. Thats just another way of saying that after a short time, you get used to the benefit of wearing it, and you no longer need your muscles to do what theyre supposed to be doing. A better solution is to work with your doctor or physical therapist to strengthen your own muscles to correct your posture.

> 3 dayI am 86 and was slouching badly. I thought that if I didnt take some action now, it would be permanent and would hamper my breathing. I was wearing it too long at first and my shoulders hurt. I slowly broke it in and am very happy with the results. I am standing up straighter even when I dont have it on. I can now wear it all day long. I even wear it to the gym. Be sure to loosen the straps a lot. It makes it easier to put on and take off. Even when I dont have it on, I no longer slouch.

> 3 dayI have a pinched nerve in between my shoulder blades with extremely painful serrated knife cutting through my triceps type of radiating pain in my arm. Muscle relaxers were kinda helping, pain killers did nothing really. I have been active in the gym prior to the pain so getting back to working on my gains bro was of top priority second only to pain relief. Chiropractors are a sham and will only do more damage. So I was at a crossroads of needing relief. And this seemingly simple contraption was the only possible light at the end of my tunnel. It shipped super quick so I when I got the package I quickly tore apart the new elope and got to work on figuring out how to put it on. Word of caution if you have a new or healing shoulder injury DO NOT attempt to put this on. You will hurt yourself! My shoulders are 50” and biceps 16”. If you are any bigger than that you probably won’t fit in this and if you do, it probably won’t be comfortable. Speaking of comfort, sometimes you have to choose the lesser evil. This is not comfy to wear. It will rub in your armpits and on your neck. But! It will release the pressure just enough to help with radiating pain. It will force you to sit up straight which will prevent future problems as well as helping to align your spine to relieve pain. It won’t make sitting any more comfortable but it will make it more tolerable. It won’t take away your neck pain but helping your posture will remind you to stop looking down at your phone like you are doing right now. Lol I do have more ability to turn my neck even though the pain is there, i don’t feel so robotic. It’s 20 bucks and for some much needed relief even though it doesnt erase pain you can at least feel more relaxed.

> 3 dayI just got my brace yesterday and wore it for about half an hour, so thats where Im coming from with this review. My family have noticed my poor posture lately and have been commenting on it, so Ive ordered a new chair for my home office, a lumbar support cushion for my chair at work, and this thing for when Im not at either. Ive got a large torso and wide shoulders, so I wasnt sure how long the straps should be; eventually I decided to put them on with only slightly lengthened straps from the default. Theyre elastic, and fairly strongly so, and they held my shoulders back in the proper posture without trouble. My family noticed immediately that I was standing straighter, so clearly theyre doing the job, and there wasnt any noticeable discomfort from the relatively tight straps. The seller recommends wearing them for short periods until you get used to them, and I can see why: I wore them only half an hour because my shoulders were getting sore. The fact of the muscle soreness suggests that my body is actually doing some of the work to hold my shoulders back (probably unconsciously), and thats good news: it means my rear deltoids will actually be tightening up over time while wearing them, improving my posture even without the brace on. I dont think this is the ideal solution for poor posture - barbell exercises for the chest and upper/lower back are the best solutions - but for anyone without time or access to a gym this is at lesat a reasonable alternative. I cant say how well this would help people with longterm injuries or chronic pain, as I dont have either, but at least as far as a single wearing this product seems to be exactly what its advertised to be. Ill update this review in a month or so, after Ive worn it more. EDIT: Ive now had the brace for two weeks, and I can safely say that its much more comfortable to wear for longer periods now than it was at the beginning. Ive restarted my weightlifting regimen, so its hard to say which has had more effect, but Ive noticed myself automatically sitting up straight without having to consciously make myself do so. Obviously, this involves tensing muscles, so I have a little bit more soreness after long periods sitting with no back support than before, but thats been fading as I become accustomed to it.

> 3 dayToday I received a letter from the owner of the Comfy Brace company. It was in regards to reviewing her product and that in these strange times, how difficult it is to keep a small business going. So, this review is written to support her and her product. It is written without bias and I am a real customer. Let’s start with my problem and why I needed something to help my posture. I have been a chef for almost 30 years and as you can guess, for most of that time I’ve been bent over a cooker, pass or chopping board. Bending over to pick up boxes, sacks of vegetables and on my knees cleaning out fridges and freezers. Now, at the age of 46, I have a small private chef business and I’m working less hours for more money! Nice. However, my wife has alway had to tell my to stand up straight and put my shoulders back. Problem is, I couldn’t! After doing some research into back support products I came across this product from Comfy Brace. It was inexpensive (compared with some products that run into $100’s “Hey what the hell, it’s like $20 plus shipping!” I wore it for a few hours a day and to be honest, it wasn’t all that “Comfy”, but then, it’s not supposed to be at the start. It’s purpose is to bring your posture back to where it is comfortable. The more you wear it the more comfortable it becomes! After 1 month of using it daily for 3-4 hours, I’m standing straight and my shoulders naturally back. I’ve also noticed that my breathing has become more regular since I’m not cramping up my chest and, get this, my wife says I’ve stopped snoring too! Now I can’t be certain that this is because of the brace, I’m not a doctor! But it is no coincidence that its happened in the last 30 days. Conclusion, the more you wear it, the better you will feel. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in the catering industry. My name is Chef Graham Overal. My company is Food Fire & Knives. This is an honest review for a great product.
