> 24 hourI applied these to a knockdown textured wall painted with an eggshell finish. Its been at least 6 months, and there have been no problems with adhesion. I used one velcro pair per item hung, and each item is less than 2 pounds. I havent tried to remove anything yet.

> 24 hourI use these often, and they are great for saving my walls. No more nail holes, and if you follow the directions, no peeling paint. A couple of suggestions for anyone new to these, so you can benefit from my trial and error: 1. Make sure the surface youre applying to is clean, especially kitchen walls which may have unseen residue typical from regular cooking. Otherwise, you may experience issues with adhesion over time. 2. Choose a less humid day to hang these. If thats not an option, wipe your surface area thoroughly with a damp cloth, then run a fan on it for a bit until thoroughly dry. Keep fan running during application if possible. 3. Use more than you think youll need based on the packaging suggestion. I typically use two pairs of strips (top and bottom) for anything 8 x 10 or larger, or for anything with any weight to it. An extra strip may be more than you need, but trust me, you dont want to end up with less than you need when your cherished portrait comes crashing to the floor. In my many, many uses of these strips, I have fortunately only had this happen once. These strips are quite sturdy. 4. It can be easier to hang items if you first press the strips together, then apply the sticky sides to the item you are hanging, and then finally to the surface on which youre hanging the item. A small level set on top of your picture/item will ensure a nice even look. 4. When removing, pull the tab while applying mild pressure to the strip, holding it against the application surface. This will lessen the likelihood of a chunk of paint from being pulled off. Overall, this is a great, very useful product which will allow you to hang and change up your favorite decor without damaging your walls. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourWe are using just about every kind of command hook in so many places and for a ton of different uses. These have become as standard in our house as a role of tape. The stick to just about anything and do not damage even the most sensitive surfaces. Follow the instructions when hanging and removing them and you will be very happy.

> 24 hourThey work well to hang pictures on a wall. Surface should be smooth. Better than putting holes in the wall!

> 24 hourI was rearranging things in my rooms and found a number of pictures, photos, etc., but with no way to hang them up. Saw the ad for these hanging strips and now (with the help of my daughter-in-law) most are on the wall and not in a closet. Hooray.
