> 24 hourThese composite shims are some of the handiest things for remodeling that Ive come across. Were always working on something around this old house, and it seems like nothing is ever level. So, shims are pretty much a necessity. These are great and they hold so much more weight than the softer wooden shims. These are scored so they can easily be cut to size, and I dont worry about them degrading due to weather. As far as Im concerned, these are the only shims well be using from now on. The price is reasonable and the quality is good, making these a good value for the money.

> 24 hourIve been buying these plastic shims at the big box store for our remodeling project, they wont ever rot or degrade from moisture and they are very difficult (but not impossible) to crush. They are a bit cheaper on Amazon than they are in the retail store, and I honestly cant tell the difference except for the bulk packaging. I find these are easiest to cut off after placement using an oscillating tool as opposed to a razor knife. I dont think I will ever go back to using soft wood shims after my experience with these. Recommended for any building or remodeling project you have coming up!

> 24 hourThese are really neato. You get a lot of them, they are very easy to use: measure what you need, snap to fit and you are done. Nice and heavy too. Seem to be generic product but does what it says it will.

> 24 hourUse under flowerpots in rough flagstone courtyards. The variable height keeps them off the ground for drainage and stops them from shaking if you need to use more than three or wish to keep the POTS level. It works well. If its just a small pot, or for flat SLATE, you might choose the standard domino type wrapper, because I think theyre cheaper. If we had more POTS, we would buy more because they are so versatile.

> 24 hourJust like duct tape you will find so many uses for them inside and outside the house. You will be suprised at everything you will grab a shim for. I just recieved these and have already used a couple of them. Hopefully this bag will last me a while. Good price for the quantity you get.

> 24 hourAny place that calls for just a smidge of leveling or nudging into alignment is a place for a shim. These are more weather resistant than wood, even treated wood, so they are virtually indestructible. Ive used them for aligning and leveling door and window installation when the building youre retrofitting stuff on isnt quite square. They work for laying out walkways and decks, levelling shelves and appliances...oh, so many things! You get 40 shims in this package, so that should go a long way, since they can be snapped off to just the length you need. This is a good buy.

> 24 hourSmooth on one side ridges on the other. It’s somewhat flexible, more on the thin end. Should work great on a exterior door installation. Shims are handy for many uses including leveling things.

> 24 hourThese are just like any other composite shim at initial inspection. I have no doubts that they will work the same too. No complaints here.
