> 24 hourI love these shims Ive been using them for years but I just buy them from the local stores here and I was excited to find them at a cheaper price with fast shipping online they are synthetic so I dont have to worry about water and them corroding away after some time. its a great product for installing doors, windows and several other applications

Always something to do
> 24 hourThis package includes a Lot of shims at a great price. These are perfect for shimming outdoor projects, which is why I ordered them. I wanted composite shims not only because they are rot resistant, but because they can withstand great pressure. I would order these again.

> 24 hourIt was easy to adjust the amount of shims to break the partial shims, which I was needing to stabilize the posts on the deck. This product did exactly what I wanted. I like the fact that they go from thin to thick, so you can cut it to the length and height level you want.

> 24 hourSmooth on one side ridges on the other. It’s somewhat flexible, more on the thin end. Should work great on a exterior door installation. Shims are handy for many uses including leveling things.

> 24 hourThese shims are made of sturdy plastic. They are tapered at one end to make easy to jam them under uneven furniture and appliances. I like that they can be cut to the desired length by a tough pair scissors. I expect these to have a long life span. Definitely recommend.

> 24 hour40 Pack 8x1.5 Composite Shims. Tapers from 5/16 to 1/16; put two together for bigger gaps. Snaps clean and easily once you have it securely in place. Eco-friendly: made from 100% recycled plastic material. I use them to level base cabinets; can be used anywhere you need a shim. Supports an amazing amount of weight before deforming. Better than wood shims (plus they dont have to be sawed off).

> 24 hourIf youve used wooden (or similar plastic) shims, you should have a good idea of what they are and what they will do. These are comparable to any other plastic shims I have used in years of construction. I think that you can be confident with these.

> 24 hourIve been buying these plastic shims at the big box store for our remodeling project, they wont ever rot or degrade from moisture and they are very difficult (but not impossible) to crush. They are a bit cheaper on Amazon than they are in the retail store, and I honestly cant tell the difference except for the bulk packaging. I find these are easiest to cut off after placement using an oscillating tool as opposed to a razor knife. I dont think I will ever go back to using soft wood shims after my experience with these. Recommended for any building or remodeling project you have coming up!
