Continental Conti Valve Extender (Pack of 2)

> 3 dayI installed these because I have 88mm deep carbon fiber wheels. There is absolutely no air leak, just make sure you use teflon sealer tape. I have used 60mm length version with 80mm valve inner tube but I could use the size smaller I guess (40mm) , but it is ok.

> 3 dayExcellent quality. You have to unscrew the presta value off the tube then attach the valve extender. Just as easy to pump up the tires as it is with the regular presta valves. I accidentally ordered a size too big for the depth of my wheels but even so, the extenders still look great on the bike.

> 3 dayI used these to help clear my 80mm carbon wheelset. Its worked excellent so far, and they held up through the ironman races I did. No air leaks.

> 3 dayDont waste your money and give yourself aggravation using any valve extenders that dnt have this feature of actually moving the valve. The ones that just screw on to the end of your valve and rely on pressure to open the valve are a royal pain in the butt compared to these guys. Never had a failure with this brand or its harder to fine equivalent from Zipp. Multiple failures with other extenders that close the valve or dont seal wells etc. Get these and give yourself some peace of mind. (Youll need to buy tubes with a removable valve core, which cost a couple bucks more...but youre riding Zipps or some other expensive wheel if you need these, so quit complaining about a couple bucks for a decent tube!). :-)

> 3 dayVery good and light. I remove a start because I find annoying that they force us to buy 2 when many people have a disc in the back and 808 in the front e.g.

> 3 dayOnce I understood how to use the included wrench to remove the valve core and screw into these extenders they worked like a charm. I have used two other brands and types and these by far work the best.

Greater than one weekIt would have been better to buy the right size for my tubeless stem, but my LBS only had 44mms. I had enough bite for a shallow air chuck, but it would be too short using others an unfortunate oversight when I went on a trip. These stem extenders are just the right length without looking stupid and work better than the extenders where the valve does not need to be removed. I did use plumbers tape to make sure I had a good seal and had to re seat the tires in order for me to inflate them after installation so if you are planning on using them make sure you have a compressor or good pump or you will need to take a trip to your LBS.
